Nice big bed for a double room, easy to facilitate our night stay and we made use of the sauna and steam room. the breakfast buffet was surprisingly good compared to other hotel buffets ive had, it was very fresh even when eating a couple hours after open. The exterior made it seem a bit dingy but i thought the hotel was of a very decent standard and we enjoyed our stay!

Our room itself was clean and quite adequate. Not very quiet though, music carried thru the pipes and arguments in the hallways were very audible. The carpet in some of the hallways needed cleaning. The key cards never worked more than once and had to be replaced about every time we left the room. The layout of the hotel was also strange with a lot of switch backs through corridors to reach the lobby.

Stopped over to break a long journey, great hotel. The staff made it, all really friendly and bent over backwards to help. The food was great, varied menu with some nice twists, and everything we ate was spot on. Great pool too. A little tired in some outside areas (bit of new render wouldn’t go a miss) but lovely grounds. Will definitely use again if passing through and need a refreshing stop.

Room had stains on the wall. Overall hotel need’s updating. Staff friendly but chef stressed as no one was checking on breakfast items that kept running out! Dinner was lovely though…. Sticky toffee pudding to die for. Stay was ok for the price and it was the second time we have stayed. So obviously not too bad.

Completely adequate room for our needs as we were visiting Leeds Castle for a concert. Room was clean although very hot as we are mid heat wave at time of writing…no air con but fans provided to take the edge off. Staff were pretty friendly, decent buffet breakfast with good ‘full English’ offering. Well stocked, reasonably priced bar.

Everybody we had any interaction from the staff onsite was fantastic. We have an autistic daughter who can be challenging at times and the staff did everything they could to try and make her feel comfortable. Would happily stay again.

Helpful staff and a relatively clean hotel cannot makeup for no air conditioning in rooms, which were stiflingly hot during our stay during a UK summer heat wave. Unfortunately the small plug in fan and safety-secured windows did little to alleviate the stuffiness and heat in the rooms. Overall it’s a lovely location with relaxing grounds but the aging decor in common areas, corridors and rooms is in desperate need of an update, even in the chosen eclectic style.

This hotel needs some serious TLC, room was just tired with water leak stain on the celling. Chairs in the room and breakfast hall were rocking quite wildly. Breakfast was good - recommended. Parking was convenient. This hotel needs renovation.
