“Love staying here when we visit the UK - its close to our family and friends and you get a real small village feel. Staff at the hotel are great and the breakfast is fantastic. Definitely prefer this to the any of the big name hotel chains so would absolutely recommend to anyone.”

“Meeting up with lots of my relatives was great. Yes, the room was clean, but the kettle was not working for my early morning cup of tea (I didn't use it the previous evening)! The staff were efficient, sympathetic and friendly, but were unable to get a replacement kettle to me. Also, when I booked, I did say that I needed a gluten-free diet but the biscuits in the room were not gluten-free! “Overall a very decent stay with a good bar and restaurant with an excellent breakfast line the morning. The rooms could do with a small freshen up looking a bit tired, but it was very clean and tidy. ”

Room was comfortable and the towels were a great student, 2 problems the extraction fan was not working and the towel warming rack was not working. Close the train station. Parking was plentiful.
