โCharming little town near the airport. We didnโt want our Ireland adventure to at an impersonal hotel outside the airport. Malahide was a nice end-cap to the Ireland adventure.
The Guest House is very walkable to the castle and restaurants. The Host, Tia, is lovely and accessible for help.โ
โThere is NO AIR CONDITIONING. (We stayed in August).
That being said, Iโm giving 5 stars because the staff was incredible, gave us fans, opened windows where able. Iโm surprised with the beautiful renovations that A/C was not installed. There are some hot days in Summer time.
I will not hesitate to stay at the Grand again. Although quickly walkable into town a long block away, itโs far enough to be quiet and the coastal location is breathtaking.

AC was perfect. Location is great, got into the city and back very easily as stop is right across the street. Would 100% stay here again. โ
โNice bedding in a comfortable room. The surrounding environment was wonderful with lots of wood. very peaceful. I would like to come back to stay here again. The breakfast was good with nice silverware. The shuttle service to the airport was also very convenient.โ
โThe breakfast are hot and delicious and add cereals, fruit, yogurt, breads and fresh pastries along with the usual beverages. The bar food is also well prepared and varied at reasonable prices. The beds are large and comfortable.
