“This was a pleasant stay. Friendly reception, convenient Indian restaurant, pizza, and breakfast (although very basic). Rooms were clean, spacious and very comfortable beds! Our own patio and the car parked outside. Very convenient. Not 5 stars, but completely comfortable. Good value for the money. Would stay again and recommend it.”

“The Quarterdeck Inn Port Hardy was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. From the room to the staff to the management, everything fell short of even the most basic standards. “It was a bit of a strange place. We had booked with the Sportsman’s Inn but they gave us a room at the McNeill Inn. There was a view of the water but directly in front was a parking lot with cars driving through from the coffee place & people walking by. The furniture was in rough shape but overall the room was clean but smaller than we expected. Basically it was a weird set up.”
