“The kindness of staff is as unlimited as coffee and tea on the 2nd floor. The guy from reception helped us with luggage on the way to the hotel and also back. They provided snorkel equipment for free. Breakfast is very tasty, espiecialy maledivian one. Room is clean and spacious enough, one disadvantage is that we didn't have window and maybe that's why you can feel excess humidity. ”

“It was a wonderful stay. I chose the hotel for a day use (I had made a payment for a night stay) and asked for an early check-in priorly. The hotel said as long as all rooms are booked it would offer an early check in. I was at hotel 8am and recieved a room key within 10 minutes;-) Room was comfortable and clean. Linen is colour of Maldivian beach (blue and white) which I liked the most. Staff were excellent. Recommended restaurant was really nice and they arrange a taxi to the airport on time....

“Possitive: Value for money, good location, quite area, good sea view from our room, staff are very helpfull and kind, free pickup/drop off from/to the ship port, very clean, free usage of sea towels, 24/7 reception,shops near the hotel. Negative: Wifi have very bad signal and is very slow, poor breakfast, mosque is behind the hotel, no elevator in the hotel We had a very good stay in Velana hotel. I suggest the hotel.”

“Simple and friendly. Why go to the fancy resorts on remote islands where you will be trapped and not able to experiencfe the local culture and hospitality, when you can stay right in the middle of the city at this place. The hotel offers adventure day trips too, so you can even pay extra and go to the resorts for a pool day trip, snorkling or other water sport activies, so theres no need to book a long trip to the resorts. The city is really safe. Its quiet and the hotel service was really...
