Was there just overnight but really can’t complain about anything given how cheap the price was. The rooms and bathroom were reasonably clean. The receptionists were helpful and kind. The location is amazing and I was lucky enough to have respectful and hygienic roommates. Would use again for short 1 night stays. Served its purpose.
Just note that it’s £3 for a blanket and you need to have your own toiletries (toothpaste, bar soap etc). I think they provide shampoo and conditioner? But not too sure
The room is spacious. The bathroom is big and clean but only a bottle of shampoo was provided. We forgot to bring USB charger and there is no USB socket on the wall unfortunately. The best amenity here is the shared kitchen and dining room, where you can cook and hangout with other travelers.
The room was nice and clean the bed was very comfortable with a curtain for privacy. The only bad thing I could say was that you can here people outside in the street till about 3am but that’s to be expected when you stay in the city centre. I will definitely stay there again.
Mattress was so comfy. Pillow and duvet as well. The sheets were crystal clean. Room and toilet didn’t have a a bit of dust. Toilets are clean. Their pub has a nice menu and live music + the pub has AC and it’s great during heatwaves. Great place!!!!! Don’t forget the 20% discount on the menu for staying in. The location is fantastic and close to everything in the city centre. The place is well maintained and taken care of. Well done!
Great hotel located perfectly in the middle of the northern quarter, friendly and helpful reception staff. We stayed mid week and it was lovely, not too busy, but people around to socialise with in the shared kitchen or at the quiz night. We will be back, thank you :)
Nice economy accommodation with walking distance to everything in Manchester. I had a single economy room. Which was perfect. Room alone, shared bathroom it was fine. The breakfast wasbin partnership of Wilson's which was perfectly fine. Had a shared kitchen, which I just passed by and refilled my water bottle.
Overall if tou looking for a cheap / economy accommodation with walking distance and a super helpful staff. You can have shared room with X beds or a private bedroom with or without a bathroom.
One of the best Hostels I have ever been to. Nothing but absolute comfort and cleanliness. Totally recommend it. If you’re staying longer during a heatwave, perhaps a fan will be useful, or head to the lobby or specially discounted bar next door for a freshening glass while cooling under the air conditioner.
Good for the price and would stay here again. Great location in centre of Northern Quarter. Nice to have a separate bathroom for our room of four and room was clean. Only downside is loud music from surrounding bars till 3am on a Friday night, so probably not ideal for light sleepers
Absolutely perfect stay and the location couldn't be better.

Lovely staff and reallly helpful! The room was very tidy, beds SO comfortable, and the kitchen had loads of room and equipment to use. One of the best hostels I’ve stayed at.

The 4 bed dormitories are amazing as they have better ventilation and more space. Totally recommended
Hostel was incredibly clean, staff were all friendly and helpful was great to stay within this community. Hostel was conceniently located to everything i wanted to do easy to walk to bars museums etc
Dreadful stay. We booked for 2 nights and left after the first night. We understood the room would be small and cramped and bathroom was tiny but what made it unbearable was the noise. This place is on top of a bar and the area has bars and pubs all around it playing dance music until 2:30am. The room is on the 1st floor and not sound proof. We could literally feel the base vibrate the room at times. Told staff about this and all I got back was that unfortunately this is the reality of staying with them. They did offer free breakfast, which we appreciated.
