โLovely rural Dorset pub. Excellent food, locally sourced. Staff very friendly. It is very rural, and that is its charm. Do be prepared for high hedgerows and single track roads but worth it when you get there.โ
โVery nice old inn hotel. Nicely renovated and providing all modern facilties. Excellent restaurant, both dinner and breakfast were fantastic. Very friendly staff. On arrival the room for the three of us was not available due to a technical issue and they gave us two fourposter rooms. Short drive to the Jurassic Coast and also nice small village to take a short walk after dinner or in the morning.โ
โStrong WiFi throughout. Plenty of choice for breakfast, although the cooked food was a bit salty for our liking. Bed was firm, with a creak. Non feather bedding, so great for allergies. Bathroom door wasn't keen to stay shut. Room was clean. Great selection of teas, coffee and hot chocolate as well as biscuits. Quiet location over the night. Steak and ale pie great, veg pie you needed a spoon to eat the contents with. โ
โCame across this little gem unexpectedly. Donโt be put off by the exterior, lovely girls at reception.. big clean rooms. Dinner/ breakfast in the restaurant was lovely. Will return! โ
โA beautiful pub with stunning garden and setting, great food and beer selection. Staff are really helpful and attentive. Rooms are a little old but still very comfy and have everything you need. I stayed for business in the area but a great place for a holiday stop as well! โ

โLovely stay. Room way lovely we felt so looked after. The lady was very welcoming and took really good care of us. She went the extra mile and dealt with my dietary requirements. She made sure I had gluten free and vegetarian sausages. โ
โLove, love, love this inn. Amazing property in a beautiful village. Lots of great, easy walking spots. There is a bus from Dorchester station that takes you to a stop right next to the inn. YES!!
Also, the food and drinks at the inn are a homerun plus. Love, love, love this place.โ
โThe room was spacious, the bed was huge and comfy, the bathroom was spotless with a deep bath, shower, and plenty of hot water. Our hosts were warm and welcoming. Having an area outside with our own garden table and chairs was great. Would certainly stay again. โ

L'hรดtel n'est pas moderne, mais trรจs confortable. Les chambres sont vraiment trรจs bien. Pour se garer, il y a un parking payant en journรฉe trรจs proche et trรจs pratique pour charger et dรฉcharger les affaires.
Le personnel est trรจs dynamique, sympathique,le petit dรฉjeuner trรจs copieux.
