"We really loved this place! The new owners have done a phenomenal job of revamping it & making it feel newer, more upscale, & beautiful. Rooms were smaller but clean & updated. The amenities were great- pool, hot tub, cold plunge tub, sauna, cornhole, putting green, coffee bar, robes, etc. The location in Manitou Springs was very convenient with many restaurants & shops nearby, as well as close proximity to local attractions such as the Garden of the Gods, Manitou cliff dwellings, & Pike's peak. Beautiful mountain views & even a cute lil park & pool / fitness center across the street! Staff was very friendly & kind. Well worth the very reasonable price & would definitely return!"

"5 The Buffalo lodge was perfect for a quick night in the Colorado Springs near garden of the gods, and old city. I The staff was friendly and very accommodating. I would definitely go back there because they have like private casidas, with 2 bedrooms and a kitchenette and free bikes. A nice pool, they have events. And I would definitely come back and spend a little longer to experience the area more"

"My wife and I stayed 3 nights at Cliff House in a Junior Suite on the 4th floor. The room was clean, spacious, and very quiet. We had a great view overlooking Manitou Springs and the mountains. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was spacious with 2 sinks. There was a jetted tub combined with a shower. Unfortunately we didn't get to try the tub because the water temperature would only get luke warm. This was really odd since the hot water at the sink was very hot. Dining options at the hotel were sparse and pricey, and definitely not kid friendly. Thankfully, the walk to main street is less than 5 minutes from the hotel. Once on Main street there are numerous dining options along with extensive shopping. From Main street you can also take the free shuttle to the Pikes Peak Cog Railway. This is by far the best, and less stressful, way to get to the Cog Railway. There is a huge renovation going on at the hotel but we never heard any noise in our room. Overall, this is great location, not to mention staying in a building that dates back to the 1800's, and hosted royalty and a U.S. President!"
