“The room was really nicely decorated and spacious enough for my stay. Bed was really comfortable and the bathroom was spotless. Only downside was that there are no facilities nearby as the pub is no longer functioning, however being brought up in Halifax I know my way around so this wasn't a problem. Complimentary breakfast items was a nice touch even though it is advertised as room only.”

“Great place. The guy at check in was brilliant. Had salmon and king scallops for tea and was beautiful. The Missus enjoyed her fish n chips. Breakfast was excellent, one of the best we’ve had and the lady got us in early cos we had somewhere to go. Couldn’t do enough for us. Will go again 100%”

“Once we had found the entrance which isn't that well sign-posted (my only complaint), we were very pleasantly surprised by the quality and cleanliness of the room and the relative ease of parking (we only had to pay until 6pm and Sundays are free). Breakfast was also a pleasant surprise, given that the menu in the room only mentioned continental style but plentiful, good quality hot food was available. “Really enjoyed our relaxing stay. Lots of attention to detail. Very private spot. Weather was hot so we enjoyed the very comfy sunbeds and were able to eat outside, enjoying the afternoon/evening sunshine. The hosts had provided a large fan in the room, which was most welcome. Plenty of drinks in the fridge and various snacks in the room (crisps/chocolate) Just bring your own food. Hosts are on hand if you have any issues.
