This hotel is overpriced. The room was average and the carpet was stained and dirty. The bathroom was not clean and there was no water pressure in the shower. The pressure was so low that I decided to take a bath instead as the tub had whirlpool jets, but alas, they did not work. There was only one uncomfortable chair in the room so it wasn't inviting to hang out in. In addition, the wifi wasn't working when we checked in and there was nobody at the desk to ask about it. We had planned to chill out in the room and research restaurants etc. but with no internet and our phones couldn't get coverage (admittedly that is not the hotel's fault) we had to go sit in the car to check our phones. That was very counter to the idea of staying in a luxurious "boutique hotel." In the morning we were startled awake at 8:30 (not the crack of dawn, but we were on vacation) by a horrible noise: we were on the ground floor and the headboard of the bed was by the window and DIRECTLY outside the window was a landscape worker with an industrial leaf blower. I can't stress this enough, it was just feet from our heads, and was an extremely jarring way to start our day. Upon checking, the wi-fi still didn't work and two visits to the lobby yielded an empty desk, so we couldn't inquire.
Positives: the complimentary breakfast was good and was cutely curated with mason jars for glasses. The building itself was charming. After I texted the manager we did get wi-fi.
