“Beautiful and clean room with amazing river view.”

“We arrived and waited at the property for 30 minutes before someone arrived at the window after calling and ringing the bell. The lady proceeeded to take my deposit and give me a key. I walked over to the room and when I opened the door the room was trashed. Beer cans, unmade beds and bloody towels. Just gross. We did not stay, we were told to get our monies back and the deposit would be returned. So on the holiday weekend, in the night had to go find a hotel and am still fighting for mu.mknies...

“It was a nice place to stay and served our needs for the days we were there. The shower curtain rod was a little weak and the internet was slightly unreliable, but the room was clean, the staff was nice, and there were complimentary cookies and coffee/tea/hot chocolate in the lobby which were appreciated. The breakfast was also very good.”

“When we arrived, the front desk told us our reservation had been cancelled due to "over booking". I made the reservation 2 months in advance. Never received notice that it had been cancelled. The woman at the front desk was not friendly at all and didn't offer any help or compassion about our reservation being cancelled. “My sister and I booked the Allen House for the 4th of July weekend. We loved the property and the house is absolutely stunning. If you love old historical homes it's a great find. The owners were very kind and helpful and the food was so amazing!! We loved their dog captain and the room was very cozy and cute. The only thing I would say is that it gets very warm in the room and I like to sleep in colder rooms so that was my only complaint about the stay. Everything else was a 10/10. I would...

“My stay was comfortable the only thing I didn't like was the fact that expedia doesn't let you know about the $60 mandatory cash deposit and also I was woken up from my sleep at 4am by someone's barking dog I called and the front desk handled it.”
