It was exactly what we expected from a Best Western. It was a little dated, but very clean, and overall, a very nice experience for an overnight stay.

This is an older building, but it is really showing on some of the rooms. Old holes incompletely repaired, cracks in both some of the walls and ceilings of the room. The beds were both smaller than an average double room and the mattresses and bedcovering were thin. The price was appropriate, but this property needs some work on it.

Overnight stay
Comfortable hotel with nothing fancy. Room had a nice view. Restaurant in the building was good. Great park across the street to walk through. Food options within a few blocks.

The staff was very friendly. The bed was comfortable and there is a restaurant in the motel. The river view from the room was nice.

Not worth the daily rate
Hotel rooms are in bad condition. Although they try to keep it clean. I had a leak in my sink over the weekend and with no maintenance staff they put extra towels to soak up the water until someone could get there on Monday. Luckily it wasn’t gushing water. Housekeeping came the first 2 days of the visit and after tipping them $20 they never came back the rest of the stay … even with the leak! After reporting it again to the front desk someone came in the night before my departure. The restaurant bar smells like an ashtray so even though there were coupons for breakfast we did not use them. The positive was that it was convenient for the event we were there for.

The hotel was clean, room was mediocre. Took us almost 25 minutes to get checked in after booking online. Front desk has me swipe my card for liability purposes, I went to sign the paper, it was for someone else’s room. Then, I finally get my room keys. Go up to the room, it was already occupied and other people were in there already.

Upon entering the hotel a person was outside the front doors Smoking, right in front of the sign that said NO SMOKING. then we were given the wrong room, I set up a 1 King Bed, we walked into our room 2 beds and a roll out. had to go back to the front desk and fix it. Then later saw the front desk worker out smoking in front of the NO SMOKING sign. ??
