We were in town for a special celebration. Hotel is beautifully renovated. Very clean and nicely appointed. Convenient parking. Easy to walk to restaurants and shops. So glad Marion has this gem for future visits.

Charming Historic Hotel The General Francis Marion is a great hotel with so much classic charm and history. The staff was friendly and welcoming from check-in to check-out. Our room was very clean, and the beds were incredibly comfortable after a long day of travel. A solid, historic property that covers all the basics exceptionally well. Close to Grayson Highlands Hiking - We'd definitely stay here again!

This hotel is historic and well maintained. The rooms were very clean. Parking was convenient. Continental breakfast offered a good selection of breakfast items. Staff was friendly and helpful. Very convenient to local shoos and restaurants. We will stay at this Hotel again in the future.

What a lovely spot to stop for the night! We found this hotel incredibly clean and well appointed. The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed breakfast on the balcony. Easy check in, though not particularly ADA friendly if needed.
