Island View Inn

"We stayed one night. The view of the bay from our room was magnificent! There were chairs, a table and a lounge on the balcony. We didn't use the pool, as the weather was a bit cool, but it looked inviting. It was quite a walk from the property to the waterfront, but there were chairs and a fire pit which was lit the night we stayed. Our first floor room was very spacious and the decor made us feel right at home. The king bed was comfortable. Also had a shower and a tub."

"Beautiful view, room was clean but smelled a bit stale. Parking was easy (the hotel was full), and all amenities of the hotel were as advertised. Owl's Nest Coffee shop and lobby were a big plus!"

"Stunning in every way. All self check in/out. Entire lobby was set up for help yourself. Food snacks books blankets drinks games and or sit and enjoy! Room was almost vintage (pleasant) step back in time like the 60's motor lodges. Everything including entire coffee brewer and coffee. No Panick... TV was new with apps"

"The staff was super friendly and helpful, they let me borrow a hair dryer and they always said hello when I entered the building. The water pressure in this hotel is on another level, amazing shower. The hotel is literally a two minute walk from Main Street, super walkable. Had a great stay, will be back!"

"What a beautiful location. We would love to have stayed another couple of nights just to unplug and enjoy the tranquility. The breakfast was wonderful, I had a blueberry waffle and my husband had a breakfast burrito. Being a 200 year old building, our room had slanted floors which made the head of the bead lower than the feet, even though we noticed it was already shimmed up a bit. Plus you need to be ready and willing to lug your luggage up to the 3rd floor (no issues for us but some might want to request a no stairs option). Otherwise a lovely experience. The fire pit outside with blankets provided was really inviting. Lobster boats really do come in at about 4:30am so you’ll hear them. We loved the authentic experience!"
