Hotel is in a great location, right in the middle of the harbor area. The hotel is very nice but the rooms are very small, probably because the hotel was built in 1816! The staff were very helpful with all questions.

Magnificent hotel, an oasis of tranquillity right in the middle of the beautiful raucous chaos of the Vieux Port. Views absolutely beautiful. Would go back in a heartbeat.

Marvellous Marseilles stay

Extremely well placed to explore the heart of Marseilles with a short stroll to the impressive old port. We had a comfortable stay with friendly and professional staff to advise us. Lots to do in the city as the tourist information was nearby which allowed us to visit the Cathedral, Museum and boat trip to the Calanques not to mention the numerous bars and restaurants on our doorstep. It was our first time in Marseilles but it won't be our last. We would be more than happy to return to the Grand Hotel Beauvau!

A wonderful hotel worth getting a room with a view

A great place to stay the view over the old port is stunning. It is worth getting a port view room. A highlight was the excellent breakfast where the ladies on duty went out of their way to look after you.

Great staff, great location

Our stay was first-rate all around. Situated right in the heart of the older part of the city, it offered easy access to all of the local sights. Staff was helpful with fabulous restaurant recommendations and reservations. When we encountered a travel glitch (flight cancellation) right before our planned departure, staff was accommodating. Fabulous overall!

I loved this hotel! The staff was so warm, friendly and helpful. Location is beyond perfect! My room was a bit dark, but nothing you can do about that; the location was not sunny and I looked down on dingy and dark objects. But overall, I loved my stay! It is perfect location for my first time in Marseille and to meet the needs of what I had to do for my job.
