It was great for proximity to casino and ease of coming and going. Check in took some time but that is understandable considering the current pandemic. The room was OK, but for the price I expected more. I usually stay 5 minutes down the road for half the cost and the room is exactly the same. If the rooms cost the same I would stay again for convenience, but if they are not the same I will continue to stay down the road

I liked that everything had stickers indicating items were sanitized. Overall the room was good. My one complaint is the loud seagulls that conjugated right outside the window on the roof of the adjacent building - disrupted sleep.

I liked that it was convenient to the rest of Foxwoods. The rooms are really dated. The thermostat is still a knob you turn from hot to cold like in the 90s. Above the bed there was a blinking white light that drove me crazy at night. It illuminated every 3 seconds or so and it was directly over the bed. It was the only hotel where it's valet services and parking lot garage was closed. That will be the first and last time I ever choose the Great Cedar. I will choose Grand Pequot or Fox Tower instead.

Great Cedar isn’t as well maintained as the Grand Pequot or Fox Tower. We stayed in a room facing the roof and there were birds that kept us up all night. Our heat didn’t work and our room didn’t come with a do not disturb sign and no one seemed to be able to provide us with one. The front desk told us they’d have one slid under our door and they never did and housekeeping didn’t have any. I could also hear people singing in the room next to us. I was quite disappointed with this stay.

It should have been told that pools were closed and many amenities. However we were required to pay a resort fee even though many things were closed. Also should have been told many places in the casino were closed as well.

The parking garage was difficult to find from the main entrance... we drove around three times before we found it. I was using my phone for directions.

limited dining and social amenities. VERY long check in processes. We were waiting in line for over 30 minutes to check in ----then was told we would have to wait for a text to tell us we could come and get our room key.. This process/que took another 30 minutes. Believe that Foxwoods could have avoided many unsatified people after the years they have been in business as it was not a staffing shortage issue.

I think that the best part of this hotel room is its cheap, but you are not missing out on the action. I have stayed at the Fox Tower before, and this is much cheaper and worth the difference in price! I had a great time, the rooms were clean and modern, and there really wasn't anything to complain about. Well worth the price, had a great time!

The room was a good size with a cute window seat. The room was also dated looking, had terrible air/heat system. No USB ports and not enough outlets on the stand between the beds. The shower made a whistling sound when turned on and some of the tile was broken in the bathroom. One of the outlets was broken in the main room and refrigerator did not cool very fast but did eventually work. Lighting was pretty poor also

The room was large but very outdated. For starters, the red sofas by the corner windows are shredded through wear and tear. The corner windows house all the wind howls and kept us up at night. There was a huge gap under the front door. The faucets and shower casing that were once a beautiful gold are now rusted and the tub is yellowing. The beds were made fresh an we had sufficient towels. The sheets were like sleeping under newspapers, they were so stiff.The carpets are outdated and the wallpaper has been re-glued so many times all you see are glue stains along the edges. The staff need to deep clean these rooms at least monthly-the walls and ceilings were stained with food and fingerprints. I would suggest you bring disinfectant wipes and tub cleaner. I wiped EVERYTHING down especially the jetted tub (gross!) before I used it. I am disappointed that we didn't get a special note or maybe a balloon or two as I reserved the room for my husband's 50th birthday and let them know via message as well. We paid a hefty price, it would have been nice to have a personal touch to welcome us.

Hot tub was lit in the suite. Cedars is overpriced for Foxwoods' definition of "fine dining". Scorpion Bar is a better option.

The hotel needs many updates, furniture needs replacing or refinishing. Wall paper in Hallways as well as rooms need replacing. Paint is chipping or bubbling. Paint job overall not well done. Vending machines not giving items selected. Different product in chosen selection. Pillows too firm. Sometime in the air irritated or eyes. Air/heating unit was not working well. Tried to adjust and couldn't. Didn't sound good. Shower head was the best thing in the room. Clean towels. Bed was comfortable.

The OK Cedars Hotel
The hotel was pretty standard. The room was clean except for a large stain on a chaise lounge. The staff was very accommodating and changed our room to fit our special request. The phone in the room did not work and we did not receive a comforter blanket, but that may have something to do with Covid restrictions. Overall, the room served it's purpose. Staff was very knowledgeable and helpful.
