"This was our first trip to Detroit, we loved the downtown area and this hotel. The hotel is centrally located and is a beautiful property. We would absolutely stay again!"

"Beautiful hotel my fav in the city. Location is great I like the lobby bar and the restaurant on the main floor as great with great prices and if you have kids it’s a one stop shop with an arcade pub in basement fun for kids and adults "
"The view from the 25th floor was amazing. I stayed on the 12th floor and that view was amazing as well. Everything was convenient and walking distance to the ballpark. The free people mover was a bonus. The only thing I did not like was the the cost of the parking"
"We were there to catch a couple Detroit Tigers games. We had an amazing room — a suite with views of the river as well as the Detroit Skyline. Once the valet parked our car, we walked to restaurants as well as Comerica Park. Also within walking distance of Ford Field (Detroit Lions) and Little Caesars Arena (Detroit Pistons, Red Wings, and concerts) and Greektown/casino. This was our third stay and we will be back again. Also, the area surrounding the hotel is safe; we walked back to the hotel after a night game. "
"The Roost is beautiful! Right when you walk in, you’ll be in awe. The location is great, everything in walking distance. We parked in a parking lot just beside the hotel for $80 and that was overnight parking for 2 nights.
The staff was friendly and check in was easy. Our room was nice, clean and bright. Only complaint was that due to Saturday night being in full swing, it was very noisy and we heard it all from our room. There was a white noise machine in our room so they definitely are aware of this and have put efforts into making your stay more enjoyable. The white noise machine did help but I know it’s not for everyone.
Bars were great. The coffee at the bar in the lobby is AMAZING and the breakfast is good too. The French restaurant was also very good! Rooftop patio is popular, so go early or be prepared to wait! You get a great view of the city. Overall, a really great stay!
