Exceptional!

Everything was wonderful , well located, spacious room, staff very friendly.

Staff was excellent

Fantastic experience at Moyseion! The views are incredible and the amenities were great. The staff was super friendly and very informative, helping us make the most of our time. We only wish we had stayed longer. Would definitely return!

Great location to get from car park to hotel, store luggage then explore Matera on foot. (We saw a number of guests struggling up and down stairs in the Ild Town with large bags.) Hotel was “luxury level” clean!! And very well appointed!!

Our room was done very beautifully and artistically and overlooked the Sassi Barisano for a great view. The bathroom is American sized and the room contained a large closet and cute balcony. It sits on a main piazza just a couple minutes to any of the major sites. Mimmo was an excellent host and even if we said the room didn’t need to be cleaned since we were staying only two nights, he had it cleaned anyway. We enjoyed our stay!

I stayed on short notice at Casale di Maria and I couldn't have been happier with my choice. The room was very charming and unique - in one of the historic sassi (cave hewn into the rocks) but with all the modern amenities you could wish for. I had parked a long way away but Walter, the owner, gave me a ride to my car and guided me to a parking spot near the house where I could park without getting a ticket till the next morning. Domenica, who manages the property day-to-day, stayed in online...

Amazing room, breakfast and location. We love it!!!!!

I rarely leave reviews, however I wanted to brag on Le Tre Vie. Simona was amazing and so so so helpful. We were visiting for a little weekend away after our wedding, and she made it so special for us. The room was beautiful, in a perfect location and so cozy. However, what made the stay special was Simona's care. She helped us to make reservations for a tour as well as 2 dinner reservations. She was always available to give tips or assistance, which made our weekend extra special. I highly...

Buena ubicación Un baño excepcional Excelente atención por parte del anfitrión (Giacomo) Limpieza y orden 1000% Volvería sin dudarlo

We loved our stay in this Masseria. The staff, the room and the premises were outstanding and I must emphasize their breakfast table, which was included in my price, it was amazing and delicious, the staff went all out of their way to please us and make us feel wonderful during our stay!! Beatrice gave us great recommendations for Matera and was very attentive and eager to make us feel welcome. I would recommend this Masseria without hesitation!! Wonderful and beautiful place!!

We had an amazing stay at the Cenobio Hotel! It can be a bit tricky to find if it's your first time in Matera, and you can't drive directly to the hotel. Plus, there are some steps to navigate both downhill and uphill. Knowing this from other reviews, we contacted the hotel before our arrival. They arranged a shuttle from the car park, which made things super easy for us. I highly recommend doing this if you're planning to stay here. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful, making us feel...

This is a unique property in the middle of antic city Matera. Beautiful views from the windows to die for, location, etc. Hotel is in excellent condition, furniture, room design, etc. Breakfast is very good. Great options for fine food in the area. You need to be prepare to walk a lot in the city of Matera with steps up and down including to and from hotel. If you can not walk - it is not for you. Parking (free or paid) is on the street within 10-15 min or so walking. Finding can be a problem....

THIS IS BY FAR THE MOST AUTHENTIC CAVE HOTEL IN MATERA. IF YOU DO NOT STAY HERE YOU WILL HAVE CHEATED YOURSELF OF A ONCE IN A LIFETIME EXPERIENCE. I VISITED NUMEROUS CITIES IN ITALY AND MATERA WILL TOUCH YOUR HEART AND TRANSPORT YOU BACK TO BIBLICAL TIMES (NOTE: THE MOVIE ," PASSION OF THE CHRIST " WAS FILMED HERE). OH , AND IF THAT ISN'T ENOUGH , THE FOOD HERE IS AMAZING.

Our stay in this hotel was wonderful! The place is amazing, you get to experience an immerse adventure of the Matera spirit. The rooms was beyond beautiful and the service and food… just excellent! Definitely a MUST stay in this gorgeous city.

Matera is a unique town and this hotel captures the special qualities. Each room is different and because it is part of the cave infrastructure of the town, some rooms are dark. I'd ask for a room with widows and terrace if going back.

The property is very clean
