“Umaya is incredible and we loved our stay there. There were a few issues with the original room (WiFi didn’t work and no plugs) and so we were upgraded to a beach front apartment. The views were glorious. The bedrooms are really spacious and beds are comfortable. Everything was clean and tidy. The pools were great and really clean. You can borrow kayaks for free. All of the staff were really kind and friendly.”

“The staff was excellent at this property. I believe that some of the rooms are in really great shape and others are not. A friend stayed in a different room and loved it. We did not love our room. It was the dolphin. The shower curtain had mold on the backside of it. The baseboards had nails with rust coming down. “Arrived late after communicating with the desk staff that I may arrive after the cutoff. Was able to get to my room and get some food before the resturant closed. The roof bar had a nice view and the pools and beach were well maintained except for a large hole in the surface area of one of the wadding areas. The people were friendly and accommodating and the area was nice. All said a good experience.”

“Right on the walkway that crosses the main tourist part of Placencia, with easy access to everything. The place itself was quiet, very well maintained, clean, comfortable, and most importantly, had an AC unit. It was so hot outside! Would definitely recommend and stay there again.”
