"It’s a really nice place. Clean with a decent but not huge breakfast section. The only odd thing to me was on the left side of the lobby entrance door there were a bunch of dead bugs and spider webs. Every else was nice and clean except for that one spot. Not a nice thing to see as you enter, but I would stay there again without reservation."

"Property is rather worn, bed was hard, but room was spacious and very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Pets allowed, which is why I chose the property. Pet area large and fairly well kept. Better than many budget properties that allow pets. I’d stay again if traveling with pets."

"This is a boutique hotel and as such it is a bit eclectic. First off, you couldn’t be in a better location for tasting rooms (try Pikes Road right under the hotel) and restaurants. It looked like fun shopping, neat little stores, but I didn’t go. It’s an easy in and out if you are driving and convenient to many wineries around the Valley. The parking is fine. The hotel itself is quite small. There is no lobby and no checking in. It’s electronic codes. If you have even a small problem with stairs, find somewhere else. The stairs are very difficult and there is no elevator. I emailed for someone to help with our luggage both in and out and they were extremely accommodating. If you are accustomed to instant hot water, not so much. Probably a good 5 to 7 minutes in the morning. Our bed and linens were terrific. The kitchen is quite small but workable if you are planning to cook. I probably would have given it five stars if not for the stairs"

"Ann at the front desk was such a delight, from checking us in to her pleasant smile and great conversation. Marisa was fabulous, she made driver and wine tasting reservations, everything was spot-on. Nice comfortable rooms, within walking distance of a lot of shops and restaurants. Highly recommend."
