"This was the most beautiful, peaceful place. Such a dream to stay here. The staff were all lovely and the breakfast was perfect. Lots of options from fresh fruit to yogurt to croissants to eggs and delicious cheese and meats. View was gorgeous. "We loved our stay here! It was the perfect place to slow down and take in the beauty of Tuscany. We enjoyed the cooking class and wine tasting we took with the other couples staying there. Highly recommend booking this as part of your stay! We also enjoyed the amenities they offered like the art room - we set up easels in the grass, drank wine, and drew each other’s portraits which ended up being pretty funny. The food at the restaurant was good although it felt like some of the dishes could’ve been simpler. Our favorite dishes was the pasta with mushrooms and the pizzas on pizza night. The majority of the staff was friendly too. Highly recommend this location if you’re looking for a beautifully designed, relaxing location with amenities/activities. We hope to be back!"

"Great location close to San Gimignano for day trips Siena, volterra, etc. Beautiful views and very peaceful. Very clean and comfortable hotel, with gorgeous 360 views from rooms. Unfortunately it’s very expensive to use the amenities, so we didn’t use them. The staff are very nice and helpful. The restaurant was OK. The breakfast was good but not great (coffee was great though). We enjoyed their wine."

"Great Family run hotel with friendly staff. Perfectly located to explore Tuscany.. we visited Sienna, Certaldo, Volterra, Sam Gimignano and Livorno on the coast. There is a walkable (5mins) winery called Il Colombaio which I would highly recommended. The breakfast buffet was fabulous."

"This hotel was right in the main square, which was nice, and it was the only one of 5 that we stayed in on this trip that included breakfast, which was very nice, but the room felt dated. I mean, the town IS from the 13th century, so gees, what can I expect, but I expected the room to be a little nicer. I have a feeling we got a lesser room because we booked through Expedia, because I saw a few other rooms in my brother's travel group who booked directly with the hotel and theirs were much nicer. Also, do know that the walk from the P2 recommended parking to the hotel is quite an uphill, so bring small luggage!"
