"The stay overall was good and great for families. We did encounter a few issues with our room itself. Our hotel room had a few webs in corners, and a few hair ties and Bobby pins left under the sink from a prior visitor. The sunroom had a wet spot on the floor, but staff didn’t seem to be too concerned. Our last night (around 9:30pm) we saw a cockroach in our bedroom that took about 15 mins to catch. We notified staff who immediately responded and said they could look around the room, but our 15-month old finally went down to sleep after resisting a nap all day and we didn’t want him to get woken up. I appreciate their responsiveness with calling our room immediately though. When checking out, I again notified the front desk about the water and cockroach and she seemed annoyed that I was telling her about it just to remind someone to check on the issues. Her response was “we don’t normally do that”. Over the weekend, the staff threw a “pool party” with hotdogs and ice pops which was fun. The pools and playground areas were very clean. We were not able to use other amenities due to activities booked prior. As a side note, I do wish resort fees wouldn’t be included in price if we cannot use them. For instance, we didn’t check in until after 10pm, got charged a resort fee for that day, but all the amenities were closed by 9pm."

"The staff was amazing. We purchased adjoining rooms since we have so many kids and it was perfect for our needs. It was quiet and all of the staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be staying again in the future."

"This hotel is ALWAYS our choice when we come to Williamsburg- Naresh, the manager, makes us feel welcome every single time and always accomodates my handicapped mother. The front desk clerk, I wish I remembered her name, was the sweetest girl and always checked on us. The free breakfast is delicious, the pool was great during the heat wave, and the room was very clean. We have never had a bad stay and we’re already planning our next trip! Thank you for everything, Naresh!"

"Last minute booking for an overnight stay at The Williamsburg White House! Wow what an amazing property the decor was stunning. The owners had really took pride in how the rooms were presented. We stayed in the Lincoln suite which had numerous memorabilia related to President Lincoln including a neet Fords Theatre! The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable as were the common areas of the property. Breakfast was delicious and we appreciated how organized and efficiently it was delivered. We enjoyed the communal table to chat with the other guests. Location is superb, close to the colonial area and lots of shops and restaurants. Parking is also fun we parked in the First Lady space. Thank you Jay and Debbie for your kind hospitality to us 🇬🇧I am sure we will be back one day."
