The staff on duty both days were wonderful. Very welcoming and helpful. The warm cookies at night and the real fireplace was a nice treat. There was a restaurant only about 2 minutes down and around the hotel. Delicious food. It had a great river view and when the doors were shut, no outside noise. Two things really disappointed me. The carpet was so gross. It did not appear to have been cleaned in quite sometime. It was also not stretched tight and had a ridge causing a trip hazard. The path to the restaurant had several out. Made us a bit nervous but it is a very short walk.

Beautiful woodwork all over on the property. security, gates, and passcard for the breakfast room and the room. Seen that they had a wine selection, and they mentioned some thing about cookies in the lobby. The bed was comfortable.
