This Haçienda is 9 minutes outside of town and surrounded by countryside The front and public parts of the hotel are very attractive and have a faded beauty that is lovely. Our room was fine if a little tired and needed some love. The young woman who checked us in may have been having a bad day but she was very short with us, looking pointedly at her watch as if to say our presence wasn’t convenient and quick to tell us what we couldn't do or have rather than what we could. We noticed she treated an elderly couple similarly later and even made them carry all their bags to their room in the grounds. The other staff were sweet but breakfast service was agonisingly slow. We checked out fast. Fine for an overnight but don’t seek it out unless you hear they’ve worked on the service!

Lovely spot for a couple of nights stay. The nicest place we stayed during our 2 weeks in Mexico. Beautiful quiet grounds. Good breakfast and dinners, good value. It's a few km outside of town of Izamal so best if you have rental car.

Me gusto mucho el hotel, lindo lugar lindas instalaciones. El aire un poco pequeño para el tamaño del cuarto, pues son dos espacios y doble altura, sin embargo sumandole el abanico no hubo problema, ojala lo solucionen para verano, habia buen clima. El desayuno muy rico, basico pero rico. Si llevaria algo de comer si no cenas temprano pues la cocina cierra a las 9. Regresaría

This could easily be 5 stars but the property maintenence is seriously lacking and the customer service is possibly the worst I have ever encountered. Do not expect a coffee, tea or water before 8am or after 8pm.

Nos gustó en general, pero elegimos esa opción por qué tuviera algún plus siendo que es una ciudad pequeña y no hay muchas otras opciones en su categoría pero no hubo nada que nos hiciera pensar que fue mejor estar ahí costo beneficio contra otro hotel de menor costo y en el centro de la ciudad.

There was full of Bugs/Insects. Snake , Tarantula, Scorpion. I only stayed from 9PM until like 11PM for one night and since it was too late to drive off. I endes staying at my car until morning like 5AM. I tried emailing the staff. To please return my money for the next two nights. And they never contacted me back.

Amazing place and we highly recommending it for couple or family vacation. We had few issues: we didn’t have remote from AC and after storm we didn’t have electricity for a day, internet is week. BUT it didn’t ruined our stay, we loved it and we will be back for sure!

No me gusto que al llegar me quisieron dar una habitación inferior a la que había reservado, les dije que era una master suite y me querían dar una deluxe que es de la mitad del tamaño. Al final me dijeron que verían si había disponibilidad cuando ya estaba reservada y pagada. De ahí en fuera todo bien.

Prachtige oude Hacienda. Op een rustige plek, vlakbij Izamal. De kamer was schoon en netjes en het personeel was vriendelijk. Wij hebben vanuit hier met de auto Chitzen Itza en Mérida bezocht, dat was goed te doen.

Great for rest and relaxation
This is a beautiful and historical property meant for rest and relaxation. There are some pros and cons, as with every hotel. The pros are its location just five minutes by road to the town of Izamal and all its great sites, the hotel's beautiful decor that mixes traditional and modern touches, and the friendly staff. The cons are very low water pressure in the shower, somewhat uneventful food choices or taste, and the fact that the front desk closes at 9pm. On this last point, given that it's a small hotel and is located on a lonely road, I would be concerned to be the only guest on the property with nobody to help me with any emergency. Just something to consider.

Fantastic "Romantic Dinner" - Relaxing Stay
We had a very nice and relaxing 2 night stay at the Hacienda. It is a beautiful and secluded hotel with colonial charm. Breakfast: it is included and it was very nice: coffee, juice, fresh fruits, toasted bread with butter, and eggs. They do not have an indoor eating area --guests eat outside in the patio/terrace. The setting is beautiful, but can be chilly in the mornings. Rooms: Not all rooms are located in the main building, some are in an annex building (maybe, old barns). Rooms are spacious, very clean, and have comfortable mattresses. Bathrooms are big as well, equipped with shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and body lotion. No door between bathroom and bed area, just a big curtain (more for decoration purposes, as it always stayed open). Little pressure in the shower (very big shower with not enough water). No iron, hair dryer, or coffee maker in the rooms. (we stayed at 2 different rooms -one king size bed, the other 2 full-size mattress beds, and both rooms were the same regarding shower and amenities). MUST DO: Romantic dinner. If you have the opportunity, schedule a romantic dinner. The quality of the food is wonderful, and attention to detail is also fantastic. The setting (spa area) is very private, peaceful, and romantic. A memorable experience, highly recommended. Overall, a very nice stay. A couple of things noted above that could be improved for a top-notch hotel experience.

Preciosa Pequeña Hacienda
La experiencia global fue muy buena, el trato del personal es excelente, las suites preciosas. El único detalle es la comida, el menú es muy limitado, además de que lo sirven a destiempo y frio, sin sazón con poco sabor. Tuvimos que buscar donde comer bien los demás días.

La atención del personal hasta ahora ha sido excelente. Nos hubiera gustado contar con papel higiénico de buena calidad y kleenex. Seguramente alcanzarian en la suite un par de pequeñas mesas para colocar las maletas. La cena simplemente estuvo deliciosa.
