I booked a premium room with breakfast included.
On Friday evening when I arrived, I was given a regular room at the very end of the hotel. I called the front desk at the number on the room key, but it didn’t work. I had to go back to the front desk carrying all my luggage to get a new room assigned. I told the receptionist that the phone number on the key didn’t work and she gave me another number. When I got to the premium room, the AC didn’t work. I called the new number which the receptionist had given me but it didn’t work either, so I had to walk back to the front desk.
The receptionist said that they would send someone to fix it, but the temperature was 104 degrees so she gave me yet another room. When I got to the third room; the key didn’t work. I tried calling but the number still didn’t work so I had to walk yet again all the way to the front desk. The receptionist reset the key and I walked back to the room only to find out that the key still didn’t work. Exasperated, hot and tired from the trip, I had to walk yet again to the front desk lugging all my belongings to let the receptionist know that the key still didn’t work.
Instead of apologizing, she suggested I sleep on the hammock by the pool, which I found in very poor taste.
The receptionist then sent a technician who took about 20 minutes to let me in the room.
In the morning, I had breakfast at the hotel, after which I was told that it wasn’t included in my premium room and had to pay.
