I loved the art, the courtyard, the location, and the amenities. The room needed more electrical outlets, and tile on the floor would have been nice since other rooms had it.

Agradable y accesible
El hotel es muy bonito y todos los espacios comunes son agradables y estan llenos de toques artísticos. Las habitaciones no conservan esa sensación pero no están mal funcionalmente hablando aunque se percibe un ligero olor a humedad. El personal super atento, a excepción de la chica de la cocina que parece enojada siempre. El desayuno que incluye es super básico: café y pan (o cereal de colores)

It was a really quite lace and a nice staff. Shower was a quite low pressure, but it was ok. I had a problem with my booking and they resolve so good!!

Could be great but it's only OK
This place could easily be excellent but falls very short. The water pressure was ridiculously low. On the sink you could barely brush your teeth. The shower barely worked and the only one that was even remotely acceptable was far away from the room. No electrical sockets near the bed. I mean nothing in a 4m radius and only one in the entire room for many bunk beds. Decent media room. AC in the room at night. Maybe after the renovations are complete the place will be great but definitely not now.

Place as a lot of potential in a great area. We had a 2x dbl bed room and private bathroom which was fine but had a bit of a funky smell. The rest of the hostel area was very high quality e.g. pool and games area which will be great once completed. Place could have better wifi signal in the rooms but decent for the price!

Beautiful hostel,great location w/ok private rooms
Hostel common areas are gorgeous, but they were doing construction when we were there. Pool, game room, TV room do not disappoint, but the "buffet" breakfast does. It was an option of a piece of fruit, a bowl of cereal, or 2 pieces of toast with coffee. Room was very tight with 2 beds and a low ceiling and no privacy if we opened the window. Floor was dirty. Nice powerful fan, but we thought there was AC for some reason.

Sympa. Proche du centre. Piscine agreable et rafraichissante apres une journee en ville. Petit dejeuner est un plus mais il est un peu leger. Gros frigo et accesoires de cuisine a disposition. Jardin ombragé agreable. Points negatifs : bruyant car en travaux en janvier 2019 et groupes de gens bruyants, l'hotel ne fait pas respecter la quietude. Chambres rez de chaussee tres sombre.

En los días que estuve,nadie hizo la limpieza ,el cuarto esta para llorar ,las camas muy viejas ,el baño muy descuidado,aparte de que sale muy poca agua ,no hay agua caliente ,y el sanitario se ve que esta tapado porque tarda en irse la descarga ,el personal poco atento,entiendo que estan remodelando,pero deberían avisar a las agencias ,en esta ocasión no me gustó para nada el servicio ,lo malo es que lo liquide antes de ver las condiciones en que esta,espero tener mejor suerte para abril ,lo que si esta muy bien ubicado ,lastima del servicio .

Excelente servicio, atención, ubicación y precio.
Es un hostal muy familiar, cálido y agradable. Super bien ubicado, muy cerca de la catedral, plaza mayor y casa de gobierno. Muchas y variadas alternativas para comer, cenar, tomar una copa o un café y helado. Cuenta con una cocina equipada compartida para todos los huéspedes por si desean preparar algún alimento en ella. La atención y el servicio del personal es excelente. Si acaso el único pequeño inconveniente es que se encontraba en remodelación durante mi estancia, pero muy buena la experiencia en este lugar.

Tienen habitaciones que son muy comodas, otras de medianoasi como el costo, pero tiene unas habitaciones que aun no estan listas, lo más minimo es el cochon y estos estan literal, paraa la basura, que q los resortes se salen y cuando te acueestas se hacen como cuna con la sensacón de que quedas en el suelo. Sus instalaciones son limpias y su personal muy amable. Pero el servicio de limpieza de habitaciones lo hacer cadd 3er día y me toco que a mi lo hicieron hasta el 4o día. El Hostal puuede ser muy bueno pero estos puntos tienen que mejorar.

Horrible estancia, no es recome dable
Cuarto sucio, sin agua caliente, baño olía a drenaje, no funcionaba el retrete, el cuarto olia a aceite rancio (tuvimos que ir a conprar incienso), el cuarto estaba al lado de la cocina y había mujo ruido, pague habitacion con clima y no tenía, en recepción nos dijeron que no había más (de mala gana). Baño sin ventilacion.

Hotel around the most visited places in merida
A great hotel if you need just a place to rest for the night. Be aware they don't have parking. Is close to the centro and catedral as well as famous parks. I liked the garden they have nice workers and our breakfast was okay they also offer a pool, if you haven't been in Mérida you need to know that you must book a hotel that has a pool because the weather is to hot. So I would recommend it most for people that does not expect an extravagant hotel but wants a place to sleep from fun days in the pyramids, cenotes and historic places.

Hostel with potential but needs a lot of work
The staff were helpful and the breakfast was ok. The rest was disappointing to say the least. I had to ask for a locker, the locks on the door were a shambles and not secure. The toilet didn't work the first night. The shower pressure terrible and no hot water. The pool was broken and saving grace we could go to a pool in a near hotel. I left after 2 nights. It looks funky because of the setting and art but has nothing that I could otherwise say to recommend. I found a much better hostel and left.

La entrada del hotel esta en reparación yo no quería ni pasar se ve tétrico mi intención era cancelar pero cuando entre y me enseñaron las habitaciones decidí quedarme solo lo recomendaría para dormir el desayuno bien es café, jugo, cereal, fruta y pan tostado la muchacha que atiende la cocina muy amable en general todos muy amables los muebles muy antiguos pero preciosos, les recomendaría que hicieran algo para controlar la humedad ya que huele un poco feo, estoy segura que este hostal va mejorar mucho por las reparaciones que le están haciendo.....

Mala experiencia
El hostel no es nada comparado con las fotografías que se muestran en la promoción. Dicen hasta tener piscina cosa que no es cierta. Las paredes muestran mucha humedad. No están pintandas. Los climas no funcionaban. En general las instalaciones no se encuentran en buenas condiciones. La persona que nos atendió se mostró atento pero pues no recomendaría para nada ese lugar. Tuvimos que dejar el lugar y buscar otro lado para hospedarnos. Lamentablemente no tomamos foto de cómo se encontraba. Pero fue una experiencia desagradable.

Buenos días. Lamentamos mucho leer de esta mala experiencia, somos una nueva administración la que ahora opera el lugar, estamos en proceso de renovación de todas las áreas del hostel lo cual incluye la piscina que era insegura para la integridad física de nuestros huéspedes. El edificio tiene poco más de 100 años lo cual hace tediosa la restauración de sus ambientes. Les pedimos una disculpa por parte de la gerencia de Siesta Fiestas Hostel.

An Art Adventure
Very nice friendly staff are helpful. Everything is old including numerous artifacts, paintings, quotes and antiques. Pool is cool but leaves are removed daily and could be inviting on a hot day. Kitchen has necessities, stove, fridge drinking water and dishes. This is our second time staying here for Music Fest.

Merida on a shoestring...
A funky & friendly, low-cost hostel with private room options which makes it work for me. The common-use kitchen is a plus since I'm an early-riser. The bygone-era colonial architecture helps make it a very Merida experience.

Este lugar deja mucho que desear, aunque estoy conciente de que no es un hotel 5 estrellas, puedo decir que las condiciones del lugar apenas rebasan algo aceptable. Algunas puertas no cierran bien, hay luces que ni funcionan y sólo cuenta con un ventilador algo dañado para lidiar con el calor. Una noche se tolera como sea. Pero para tener una estadía larga sinceramente no lo recomiendo.

I know it is a hostel and I wasn't expecting experiencing living in a Fourseason hotel but the room, bathroom and the whole place were very dirty to me. If you don't like having a battle with cockroaches ( I killed 3 ), low pressure shower in a dirty bathroom, low pressure flush, it is not your place. Wifi was very good in the room. The bed cleanliness was not very bad.

Quería tener la experiencia de llegar a un hostal
Nunca había llegado a un hostal y tenía ganas de vivir la experiencia, aclaro que llegamos a una habitación privada, no había nada de lujo pero muy limpio y muy cómodo, agua caliente con mucha presión , aire acondicionado, tv y la verdad no pudimos hacer gran uso de las instalaciones pues teníamos otras cosas que hacer pero la alberca muy bonita y las terrazas muy agradables, el personal muy amable pero lo mejor de todo la ubicación, puedes caminar que todo está muy a la mano llegas caminando a la mayoría de los lugares de interés en el centro de la ciudad. Yo regresaría con mucho gusto los precios bastante buenos

Las habitaciones están poco iluminadas y ventiladas, justamente las que solo tienen ventilador están en la parte de abajo mas obscura y encerrada, normalmente no dejan artículos de baño, hay que pedirlos en recepción. Y en mi segunda estancia del día 29 de diciembre en la habitación 17 con una ventila hacia la alberca había gente duchándose y riéndose fuertemente a hasta pasadas las 2 de la mañana, incluido al parecer el dueño y por eso no se callaban.

Hotel muy economico pero limpio
Cuarto muy caluroso, solo cuenta con un ventilador de mesa muy pequeño. Parece la celda de una carcel, pero es muy barato. Yo diria que el hospedaje mas barato de la ciudad para una habitacion no compartida
