Leo the owner, is welcoming and very accomodating. He generously gives you tips on activities and restaurants.
The place itself is nice, well decorated. My room was of regular size, with a nice shower. It was very clean and quiet, as it was quite far from the street. AC was working very well, WIFI was good too. You can start your day with a nice coffee made by the owner, and a croissant or some sort of...
โLuz is a great place to stay. We returned after 10 years and what a great surprise to see some familiar faces and some great new ones as well. Many changes since our last stay and all beautiful and for the good. We had the complimentary breakfast and it was delicious. Would highly recommend staying at Luz. Great accommodations, owners, and staff provide fantastic value for the money. โ
โOverall I really liked the hotel. Our room was awesome. Felt like I was in a 5 star resort. Dayshift staff are the best. Breakfast was delicious. I believe they are owned by locals and that is a plus. I was welcomed with a refreshing lemonade that was delicious. Restaurants and Centro is within walking distance. I recommend the hotel and would definitely come back.โ
โWeek stay, pleasant enough for a hostle. Likable staff, did not have any problems so not much interaction. Liked the curtained off roomettes.Has it's restaurant and coffee shop with residents getting 15% off. Easy walk to the main plaza and markets.
Only bad was the street it's on was the dirtist I have seen in Mexicoโ
