Top Merrill Lake Hotel Reviews
Lone Fir Resort
10/10 Excellent
"I'll admit I didn't have high expectations for a small place in a little town (Cougar) - I just needed a place to sleep before summiting Mt St. Helens. I was pleasantly surprised how great this place is. The lady who checked me in (might be the owner) was very friendly and super-helpful. The room had all the modern amenities (Apple TV, chargers on the night stands, AC) and was clean and comfortable. I didn't have a chance to try the restaurant but I've heard it's good. Highly recommend"
OYO Woodland Hotel and Suites
8/10 Good
"Not a five star hotel, so don’t expect the perfect room. Needs TLC (some paint and a bit of small renovations. Ex: our mirror had burn marks at the top left and our bathroom had some paint chipping). But overall, really clean and convenient for the price. FYI- they were out of conditioner when we arrived so make sure to bring your own toiletries. Check in and out was quick and swift. Don’t worry about not having free breakfast either. Woodland has great breakfast options (Matt’s Diner, Red Leaf Coffee, etc.). 45 minute drive to Ape Canyon, Mount St. Helens. Great area for access to the south side of the mountain."
Lewis River Inn
10/10 Excellent
"Clean room so overall I will overlook mid"
Best Western Woodland Inn
10/10 Excellent
"Staff awesome but understaffed."
Red Lion Inn & Suites Vancouver
8/10 Good
"The room was very clean and spacious, but the breakfast and service were just average."
The Allen House
10/10 Excellent
"My sister and I booked the Allen House for the 4th of July weekend. We loved the property and the house is absolutely stunning. If you love old historical homes it's a great find. The owners were very kind and helpful and the food was so amazing!! We loved their dog captain and the room was very cozy and cute. The only thing I would say is that it gets very warm in the room and I like to sleep in colder rooms so that was my only complaint about the stay. Everything else was a 10/10. I would highly recommend this property to anyone who is staying in Ridgefield!"
