"This place is at the heart of South Beach. However our room was quiet and we did not hear all of the parties nearby at night. It's actually two different buildings - the main building on Collins Avenue and the one that we were in on Ocean, closest to the beach. Breakfast is not included but you get a 20% discount at the News Cafe downstairs and also a free pair of lounge chairs at the beach. (Beach umbrella extra)"

"We had a short but wonderful stay. The Avalon is in a great location. There are numerous restaurants all around the area, and the beach is just across the road. The front desk staff was very helpful, storing our luggage as we arrived very early. They were able to get us a room a few hours before check-in, which was greatly appreciated. Our room was very clean and spacious, and the beds were comfortable. I would definitely stay at this hotel again!"
