“My wife and I both agreed that the overnight stay we had there was very good, everything you could have wanted was there, the bed was lovely and the room was spot on. The next morning we went down to the restuarant and to an excellent breakfast. All in all we would have no hesitation in staying there again.”

“Pet-friendly BUT you need to know that the guesthouse is just a small part of a large caravan and camping site. There’s also a field of horses. Guesthouse clients with dogs are only allowed in rooms accessible from the outside; we weren’t allowed inside the building. So my room opened directly onto the access road, with all the mud and noise that comes from all the traffic, walkers, and horses that passed in front of the door and small window. “The best part was the breakfast, very good and very polite individual. The room was cold, no hot water to shower, no one around to solve the issue. All in house amenities not in use. No bar. No service, no contact. It's 2 miles from town, so taxi us essential. It's the sort of place that picture perfect... But you'll only go once. Sorry for the bad review, almost recovered by the polite service and lovely breakfast.”
