“The room was spotlessly clean, staff were very friendly and helpful. They also served us freshly cooked breakfast in the morning, which was lovely. The bathroom was large, clean and modern, but the room itself was very small for 2 people. On Sunday night, we planned to have dinner at the hotel restaurant. However, the hotel management decided to close the restaurant without any prior notification. The reception was also closed, which was very odd and we had to go back out into town to get some...

“The room was lovely and clean and the bed was very comfy, the hosts are lovely and friendly and very talkative and they offer lots of knowledge about walks and activities in wales and have leaflets avaliable with information about activities. The hosts were also very quick to help with anything that was needed. Also the breakfast was amazing and there was lots of options to choose from”

“The infrastructure needs a reasonable amount of TLC but it’s a lovely place, with great staff, good beer, fabulous folk music on a Friday evening and a decent size car park. We e stayed many times before when visiting the Centre for Alternative Technology and will stay at the Wynnstay again soon”

“Great location right on the sea front. Lovely rooms and very comfy bed. The bedrooms and on suites appear to have all been recently renovated. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was lovely. The only slight drawback is the parking - there isn't any. So, we had to risk parking on a random street away from the hotel. Also, the air vent for the kitchen extraction is like an aircraft engine blasting away right at the front of the building where the outdoor seating is.”

“Lovely hotel, beautiful clean room. Evening meal in restaurant was excellent, bar area with lots of sofas to relax on. Good choice at breakfast and staff were helpful and friendly. Great stay.”

The property was absolutely spotless, room was lovely and the food was incredible (would recommend the lamb shank - delicious!) “The room was clean and comfortable but we were in the top of the building so it wasn’t the best room available. Which we didn’t mind as we it was reasonable value and we booked last minute. However the people in the establishment were a little rowdy and we felt uncomfortable on the evening having our meal. The breakfast the following morning was unorganised with staff who didn’t know what to do and was definitely not worth the money.”
