You won't find another location like this as close (or above) the river. We saw ships and fishing boats all day, plus plenty of sea life (Sea lions, seals, etc.) There were (2) restaurants, a museum, a cool gift shop, and plenty more things to see on the grounds. The area was very quite as well which was a plus. We hope to stay again."

"Salt Hotel is quaint and well maintained. The bed is so comfortable. This was my best night's sleep on the 9 day vacation. The one thing I missed was there not being a hairdryer or shampoo/conditioner. We stayed on a Tuesday, and there is not much to do in this town. We walked just a short way down the road to a pub where we ate with plastic cutlery and from paper plates."
