"Really lovely room, the king bed was luxurious. The restaurant, bar area and entrance hall were very grand and a lovely place to relax on the evening. Staff were all very friendly!"

"On arrival, pleasant greeting at the desk for check-in and we were fortunate to be able to check in early. The room was basic - floor, walls, bed, toilet and shower. Disappointing there was no kettle for a morning cup of tea. However, over time the odour from the drains. Smelt like faeces. Nothing would get rid of the smell. - Reception advised this is normal. The door closers could do with adjusting so the corridor doors aren't slamming all night! A big plus, They did however accept dogs, expect an extra charge of £10 (1 night stay). In summary, a busy yet basic hotel."

Queen room was very spacious and the decor very relaxing beds were very comfortable and shower roomy and powerful. Close to restaraunts and shops would definately stop again"
