I'm sorry to learn of your disappointment of not being able to dine at La Terraza as it may have been closed due to standard opening hours (La Terraza is open Tuesday through Saturday from 7-10:30 pm). Other available dining options are La Bodega Tapas & Grill, open Thursday through Monday or The Clubhouse Bar & Restaurant, open daily. At our hotel, our Panoramic Bar, open daily, offers a menu for lunch or dinner. Our reception team is always available to assist our guests or to enhance their stay. (I'm not sure whether you mentioned your bed discomfort to our team as they could have addressed while you were here). Unfortunately our outdoor hotel pool is not heated and is open seasonally during the summer when the weather is warm. However, at our Spa, we offer a climate-controlled pool which you may prefer this time of year when booking access to our spa hydrotherapy circuit. Dear Ola,Thank you for sharing your feedback and we can understand your disappointment. It is normal policy for our pool to be closed during the winter until the spring season when it is warm again. Usually we plan for its opening during Easter week however this year the Costa del Sol experienced warmer temperatures much earlier in the season which coincided with your stay. As simple as it may appear, in order to open our pool, we must first adhere to strict regulatory protocol that involves various processes, as well as ensure that a lifeguard is present during our pool opening hours. I am happy to report that our pool is now officially open for our hotel guests. We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back to La Cala in the future, and when booking please ask if our pool is open so that we can inform you in advance.
