"We loved our stay in Cat Ba! Linda was an amazing host and the staff were so helpful. We had the most delicious hot pot there one evening. Linda helped us with all our planning. It had a quaint garden with puppies running around, and monkeys howling in the distance. A/C worked and our daughter swam in the pool at night. Would recommend if looking for a homestay in the area!"

"The homestay was a good experience in general but was quite far from Cat Ba Town. We were able to hire bicycles and ride to the national park and go hiking but there wasn't anything else that could be accessed without motorised transport. The rooms were ok, but in need of some maintenance. Bathrooms need updating and wallpaper was peeling off the ceilings. There were spiders and a centipede in the room but it was fine once we removed the critters. Lots of farm sounds with roosters, barking dogs and even a radio broadcasting in the mornings, as well as karaoke from a nearby establishment at night so it wasn't as peaceful as we were led to believe. Having said that, the hosts were lovely and very helpful with booking transport and activities. Food selection was good and they were able to accommodate our need for gluten and dairy free meals. It was a pleasant stay but we would choose a different location next time."

"Green Homestay was the perfect place to stay on Cat Ba island. We were greeted by Hana who is so lovely and helpful and really made our stay perfect. We were able to arrange activities right from the homestay which was very convenient. The property is absolutely beautiful with a great pool and garden area. It is situated in a quiet neighborhood a short walk away from a couple bars and restaurants and was the perfect location for a quieter and relaxing stay. You can rent scooters to visit Cat Ba national park just a short drive away, as well as Cat Ba town. The food at the homestay was also delicious. Our room was clean and air conditioned. We very much enjoyed our stay here and would recommend this homestay to anyone visiting Cat Ba island."
