“I would advise other travellers to be cautious, especially if arriving late or making a last-minute booking. I should also mention that I was told I would not be offered breakfast because I had booked last minute or arrived late. My experience with the reception staff made me feel very unwelcome and uncomfortable. Regardless of the price paid for a room, every guest should be treated with basic courtesy and respect. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I would not stay here again.”

“Having arrived in the evening during the check in times we were not pleased that the hotel was shut. We were also not pleased that the bar and restaurant were not open on either of our two days stay as we expected they would be.”

“Great room away from the pub itself. The accommodation was clean, and quiet in the evening. The pub shuts no later than 10. Lovely views of the canal. There are a couple of pubs within walking distance along the tow path, including a micro brewery. The White Hart sells amazing Indian food! “호텔주변산책하기좋았구요 생각보다조용했습니다 공기도좋고~~ 내집처럼아늑하게쉬다왔어요 다음에가도이곳으로가고싶어요”

“Room was clean and had a comfy bed but was far too warm and the shower didn’t work well. TV controls didn’t work and had to leave the bedroom window open all night with a noisy fan running to try and keep cool.”

“Great place although very quite a there is no onsite eating facilities. Breakfast is basic continental that you help your self to. And the staff are not there but good communication on phone”

“Excellent stay at the Hopping Hare. Food is really really good and the room was large and comfortable.”

“Great food and a convenient place to stop for the night”

“The room was large, bright and clean with the added bonus of a fan. Staff were polite and helpful. Evening meal was superb. If we are in Harpenden again we will definitely stay here again.”

“We had a lovely weekend at The Red Lion. The staff were incredibly helpful both ahead of and during our stay, and the pub food and breakfasts were very tasty. Our room felt a little dated and in need of maintenance in places, especially in the bathroom, but it served its purpose for our stay and we would be happy to go again.”
