โThe greatest retreat from the hectic streets of Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto. After all those cities we came to this hotel in Minakami and never wanted to leave.
We had the best time here. The people working at this hotel were always attentive and ready to help us with more than we could ask for and we hope to be back soon.โ

โThis is a lovely 'boutique hotel' in an absolutely beautiful part of the area north of Nakanojo near Lake Okushima. I wanted a truly Japanese place and I got it. Few, if any, 'foreigners' in the area. I was provided a bike and road around for 3 hours. The owner is a beautiful, kind lady and her and her staff treated me like a king. I had a room with a private hot spring pool - all I can say is "wow". If you want to see a place off the beaten track, I highly recommend this hotel.โ
โGreat spot, came with a ticket to the Onsen down the street. Very accommodating and allowed me to leave bags there after I checked out and went to ski. Very nice place!! โ
โWe lived tge service, location. The food was scrumptious and hosy even gave us a taste of her homemade ume sake. Delish. We hVe been trying to find one lije it but they all paked compared to hers. Our room blew ur minds! River view with our own hot spring. Unfortunately it was sivhoy we cuf not enter. Told the owner. We were able to use it thr next morn after kids calmwdzsโ
