โIn a great location, this simple hotel gives good honest service and accommodation, it overlooks the beach and the train station, from which you can travel back in time on a steam train. The town is just down the road and for bigger shops, there are 3 supermarkets 10 minutes walk away. You can walk along the promenade in either direction, and a visit to the harbour is well worth the walk. The hotel offers complimentary breakfast, and has tea, coffee and cakes on sale during the day. Overall I...
โLoved welcome to the hotel. Room was nice and the bed was very comfy. The views and grounds were beautiful. Breakfast there was plenty to choose from.โ
โOne of the best B/Bs weโve stayed in. Owners were very friendly & helpful. Our room was beautifully decorated with very large comfortable bed, tea / coffee area with small fridge and large bathroom. Everything was very clean.
Breakfastโs were great and the games / bar / lounge social room was a big bonus. We had a very enjoyable stay.

โExcellent food at breakfast. The owner Keith and his wife were very friendly and always ready to help. The bar staff nothing seemed to much trouble for them very polite will certainly be returning in the future.โ
โThe stay was perfect. Wonderful service. The staff were delightful. Breakfast was delicious & so was dinner. The room was spotlessly clean. We will definitely be going back. โ
โA great welcome, very friendly, lovely, comfy, spacious room. Mouth watering meals and great choice of drinks. Although we had a lovely Valentine meal, we were in the public bar, next to the bar which was a bit noisy, table in the restaurant would have been preferred for a bit more privacy. Still we had a wonderful stay.โ
โDecent accommodation in a beautiful village on Exmoor. The bed was comfortable and the full English breakfast very good as well. I had no problem parking just outside on the street. I liked the feeling of staying in a family-run hotel and they were all friendly and helpful. Would return!โ
