Such friendly people. We stayed in an annexe to the rear of The Castle which had been recently done or refurbished. A good size room with an excellent on suite complete with a power shower. Breakfast was good and we were well looked after by Patsy each morning who was great.
We also ate there a couple of evenings, food was well priced, quality produce and tasty but its not fine dining, its hearty pub grub.
The location in Porlock is central, parking is not at the hotel but a couple of minutes walk away, however, there are some 20 min spaces opposite which are great for dropping off lugage etc.
All in all, a very comfortable stay and great value for money.
