b and b très professionnel et parfait.
Hôtes professionnels du bed and breakfast. C'est bien rodé, peut-être un peu trop rigide pour des vacances (heure de pdj à définir la veille), formulaire de renseignements à l'ancienne, mais c'est calme, super équipé et super propre. Parking privatif à l'arrière. A recommander.

Beautiful, quiet room with generous comforts provided, including a fully-loaded hospitality tray with biscuits and chocolates. Spotlessly clean (and not just superficially), and an en-suite with toiletries and ample towels. Bed also very comfortable - definitely no sagging - and a breakfast cooked to order with plenty of choice. Even the car-park was smooth, level and clearly marked. The whole property is beautifully maintained and very convenient for the town and seafront - about five minutes into town and another five to the seafront. Would thoroughly recommend.

Lovely B&B with thoughtful extras
We were two friends away with our 3 children for 1 night. The B&B was easy to find, on site parking and close to the town centre. There were lots of little extra's in our rooms, including chocolate for the kids! Brekkie was delish and plenty to choose from for everyone. We would highly recommend this friendly B&B.

Lovely, comfy and polite attentive owners

Had a lively stay owners were great and range and quality of breakfast was brilliant. Only downside was the family suite were we stayed front was only a Yale key not able to lock securely from the inside when bed time just felt it needed a lock or chain on the inside

We had a family suite on the ground floor with two separate bedrooms which worked really well for our stay. The house is really close to the centre of Minehead, which made it really easy to access other areas. The breakfast was lovely, and Chris and Sue made us feel welcome.

Great stay
Excellent stay. Chris and Sarah also Sarah's sister very friendly and helpful. We had everything we needed in our room, bathroom with plenty of nice fluffy towels. We really enjoyed our stay.

Short Break
A two minute walk to the top of the high street and away from the majority of passing traffic and thence noise, this is a very well situated guest house. Friendly owner and a lovely breakfast. Clean and tidy would recommend

Great place to stay
I have stayed at many places before but this one was really very good and I could not find 1 thing to fault it. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Great choice of breakfast and cooked very well. Owners Chris and Sue were very friendly and helpful too.

Ideally situated for touring Exmoor.
Stayed 3 nights in the Selworthy Annex. It was spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. Chris and Sue were perfect host, and very attentive. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety to choose from. Covid protocol were observed and we felt safe. Would stay again if in the area.

It was one of the best hotels i have stayed in yet and was absolutely perfect for the entire family. Amazing beds, clean, beautiful rooms. There were some lovely personal touches as well some chocolates and sweets for the children and fresh milk in the fridge. The breakfast was just stunning. We will be making this our number 1 stay in Minehead for future.

A real gem!
I can only say that this place is amazing. Chris (the owner) and his wife (although she was absent) make you feel at home from the first moment. They have a magnificent attention to detail. Our experience here was so good that it dwarfed any other places where we stayed (in Devon and Cornwall) during our holiday. I would recommend 'The Parks' without any hesitation.

Overall, a excellent guest house with full facilites. Very clean and well maintained throughout. Superb choices for breakfast and a very short distance to the town centre. Would definitely recommend this guest house.

Great breakfast, comfy beds, free & easy parking, and quiet (even though you're only a few minutes from the High Street & beach. A bit old school decor but that's an observation not a criticism.

We are pleased that you had a good stay with us and enjoyed our Exmoor breakfast. The house was built in the mid-1800s and retains some of the character from that period. We try to use modern colours for the interiors and give the rooms a light and airy feel but still retain some of the period features.

The Parks Guest House Minehead UK
Don't look any further if you are staying in the area, The Parks is ideal. Hosts Sarah and Bryan are very congenial and friendly, especially Bryan who likes his jokes. The cooked breakfast is done to a very high standard with plenty of variety. We will certainly stay at The Parks again should the opportunity arise. Laurie & Joan (Australia)

Whilst this is a great review, please note that it is now quite old and the ownership of The Parks has now changed (from 2016). We have re-launched with Expedia/Hotels.com from June 2018.

The score given by this reviewer does not seem to correspond with the comments. We took over as new owners of The Parks in 2016 and have re-launched with Expedia/Hotels.com from June 2018.
