“If I could give this hotel a -100, I would. We called around 1:30 a.m. to let them know we would be checking in late and arrived around 3:00 a.m.
Our room was in a separate building and before we even got inside, the exterior entrance door was broken and completely unsecured, meaning anyone could enter. That immediately felt unsafe.
The first room was filthy: the shower floor was black and dirty, the toilet paper holder was broken, pillows were missing pillowcases, there were two bags of trash...
“The staff was courteous and helpful. Loved the historic vibe of the hotel and its location at the foot of the levee, nearness to historic attractions and Lake Ferguson/Mississippi River. Hotel should install more conveniently located outlets in rooms, mindful of travelers’ needs to charge devices and even just to iron. Loved the spaciousness of my double-bed room, despite bathroom showing moderate signs of wear. I will stay here again for sure and am proud of this investment in Greenville.”
