"Very nice hotel located in a quiet and idyllic village. Easy to reach by car, bike or even public transport (bus stop right behind the corner). In the village itself there are not many services - no proper restaurants outside of the hotel and only a little shop in the center. However this was perfect for us and in any case bigger town nearby can be reached very quickly by car. "Loved our stay here - we only had one Sunday night here, but Hotel Franziskaner was very welcoming. Our room was light, overlooked the main street, had plenty of space & a comfy bed. We ate in the restaurant - delicious food and great friendly service. Would love to stay here again."

"It was away from the crush of the main drag but still in the center of everything. The hotel is small and cute and if you get a balcony you can avoid a trip to see the matterhorn as its visible from the hotel on a clear day. The room was quaint, confortable and spacious with a bathtub. Breakfast included it’s great value. Loved it!"
