Natural paradise!
Beautiful, natural resort right on the sea. Snorkelling in the house reef was great - very accessible and easy for my daughter. Food is delicious and varied. The pool is fun also. We loved our stay at this lovely resort.

Not worth it.
The hotel was lovely, but the staff were not as friendly as we experienced in the rest of Philippines. The food was not worth the money and there was cling film in-between the pizza dough and toppings. We heard the owner being unaccomodating to a French guest asking for help. The hotel looks astectically pleasing, but the service was not worth the money we paid. Wont be recommending this to friends and family.

Great hotel with amazing view on the sea. Super easy access to the white sand beach. Pool option is also nice ! We tried the massage which also was amazing !

The hotel is very well kept. It s a beautiful and peaceful place. The rooms are decorated with beautiful art pieces and are also very clean. I love the proximity to the beach. I found a little private spot to swim and enjoy the pristine waters. The food and service at the restaurant were wonderful, the waiters were very attentive, especially Jose, who was very kind and diligent. I love the gardens and the swimming pool. The hotel offers diving lessons, diving expeditions and rents the equipment. The staff at the hotel was very professional and friendly. The only thing I think needs to be improved is the wi-fi service. The wi-fi kept disconnecting and it was almost non-existent in the rooms. I had to go to the bar to get some wi-fi to take care of important personal and job-related issues. It was stressful at times, especially with the cancellations and changing flights due to the coronavirus. These days, travelers rely on wi-fi service in a hotel. Especially if it is promoted as a service the hotel provides. I stayed in the hotel for 10 days, the wi-fi service was very important for me. Other than that, the hotel is a wonderful place to relax, explore, and enjoy your vacations.

A lot of on-premise amenities (gym, spa, dive packages). Great snorkling path right to the reef. Restaurant was delicious. Staff was friendly and very attentive. Tour sites were relatively close from the property compared to staying in Cebu. Would definitely come back to do dive sites.

Hotel in an amazing place
The Hotel is located in an amazing place near the sea. There you can do snorkel an see a lot of fishes and even turtles. Also the Hotel is 15m away by tuc tuc from a beach with restaurants and bars. Our room was very small but ok. No tv. The breakfast was ok not amazing as was not the food in the bar. But overall the Hotel is a good deal very relaxing and in a pretty place.

The service here was abysmal. The owner is a grumpy old man that wanders around the facility nitpicking at guests. The staff (rightfully) apologised for his behaviour but after a dreadful afternoon we took our custom to Club Serena down the road

This was the first dedicated dive resort my partner and I have ever stayed at and we were delighted with everything. Dolphin House has been designed with everything in very close proximity - the rooms, the dive centre, the bar/restaurant, spa and fitness suite. Our room was very clean, spacious, had firm foam mattresses on the beds and really good storage space. The team at the dive centre were great to dive with and had a range of lovely dive sites to choose from. We made good use of the spa and had fantastic Philippine massages from experienced masseurs. And ... to top it all ... the food was “to die for”. The chef had a wide range of mouthwatering dishes to choose from each day and she really knows how to make the most awesome deserts ! I’ll miss them greatly ! We got chatting to lots of other guests and make new diving friends here. A tip for others considering Dolphin House ... the journey from Cebu airport is only c.60 miles but the roads are very busy and you have to cross the hills to the other side of the island. Our journey took 3.5 hours but, when planning our trip, we had contacted the Dolphin House team and they offered us their service to collect us from the airport and take us back at the end of our holiday. It was well worth the peace of mind. Make sure you allow 3-4 hours for your transfer to/from the airport and you’ll have enough time. Really noticeably, all the staff at Dolphin House were lovely, very helpful and friendly. We had a great

Nice at day, boring at night
Positives: Service is very friendly. Some even went out of their way to learn our names early on and use them throughout our stay. Everyone greets you and calls you sir/Madame, even the gardeners. Food is good and fresh, but a little slow at times. You do need to order in advance for dinner and there isn’t anywhere else to eat, but the menu is extensive and changes everyday. Local area is limited for things to do. There’s no beach directly outside the hotel (you have to travel a bit) but the snorkelling is good. There are more restaurants and bars about 25 minutes away on a tricycle. You can get trips to the waterfalls and island hopping/snorkelling but I’d recommend talking to tricycle drivers about this as they are cheaper than the hotel offers them. Negatives: Boredom at night... the WiFi is spotty throughout the resort except the bar. With no WiFi in the room, no cell coverage in the room no TV in the room and no entertainment outside, it made for some very boring nights. That being said, many of the excursions are early in the morning so you’ll probably end up having early nights. But if you do like to spend several hours each night watching TV or flicking through social media, then you might want to consider somewhere else. Personally, the time allowed me to catch up on my reading but my wife was pretty bored. This is the only reason I’ve given the hotel a lower rating.

We like the snorkeling area the best, very convenient in front the hotel is the snorkeling area, so many fish and corals the best. The place is very relaxing. We just don’t like the CR no bidet and the food is delicious but expensive. The staff very friendly and accommodating.

beautiful oasis on a great dive/snorkel reef
Dolphin House was a beautiful oasis on a gorgeous house reef. The resort has multiple areas set up for guests to sit, enjoy the views (whether of the water or the pool) and relax. The dive shop was well organized and professional. Your first dive will be a "welcome dive" on the house reef and after that you can extend to other local sites such as Pescador Island and the Sardine run. The house reef also makes for great snorkeling. Neighboring White Beach was a local hangout and not as inviting as I had anticipated, but between the house reef and the pool, there was not much need to venture out. There menu wasn't extensive, but there were always at least several appealing options. And the drinks were yummy. The wifi wasn't perfect, but worked ok. And the rooms had AC, which was a big plus for sleeping. We were very happy with our stay and would definitely recommend the Dolphin House to those staying in Moalboal. Do note that the hotel is opposed to the whale shark tours and will not help you make those arrangements. (I won't comment on that, but look it up for yourself).

Great staff, amazing views, delicious food, comfortable clean accomodations. Steps away from white beach and incredible snorkeling. Probably the best place to stay in all of Moal Boal!

美麗但偏遠的地方
服務人員很客氣，但服務時間太短，飯店離機場太遠，又碰到交通不好，花了五小時才到，晚上八點多，櫃檯已經下班，所以找了一下才有人拿鑰匙來，餐廳也休息了，地處偏遠沒地方吃。早上十一點的飛機，五點要離開，所以前一晚要check out ,刷卡要加3%，之後點的東西，必須用現金付。餐廳吧枱可以點的東西不多。但旅館外，只要走路出去就可以潛水，非常棒，老闆說這裡是這一帶最高級的飯店，我相信是。別期望太高，相信可以玩得很開心！

Tolles Resort!
Wir waren anfangs etwas skeptisch, da uns der Preis dieses Resorts etwas zu hoch erschien und die Bilder nicht sehr überzeugend waren. Auf Empfehlung von Freunden haben wir dann doch zwei Nächte gebucht und waren direkt begeistert! Die Anlage ist sehr groß, schön und gepflegt. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich. Das Zimmer war sauber und die Ausstattung auch gut. Sehr gut gefiel uns auch, dass das Resort sehr viel Wert auf die Umwelt gelegt hat. Wären die Preise noch ein bisschen niedriger, würden wir das nächste Mal auch länger bleiben.

Not worth the money, pro's and con's
FIRST: MUST HAVE A CAR HERE, DO NOT COME BY TAXI!!!! YOU NEED IT 100% do not make the mistake!! When my girlfriend and I arrived we thought the area was very beautiful, But: Cons: 1) when we arrived in the room, there was a lizard doing a jog around the walls, tip: close the cracks in the ceiling, because thats where he ran out of. 2) the "good" wifi was in the bar about 50 meters away. After a long day of relaxing, I didn't feel like walking 50 meters and sitting at the bar while getting bit by mosquito's.. tip: have more wifi routers, its 2017.. they are not that expensive. 3) I saw that the ocean was on the edge of the property, so i thought to myself oh why dont I go to the beach, there is no beach, there is just stones. One of the workers told me that if i walk along the stone about 70 meters I would reach "white beach" if i remember the name correctly, absolute disaster, it looked like a dump, there was rancid coconut shells, and the amount of fly's was unimaginable in quantity. DO NOT I REPEAT, DO NOT GO TO THE "BEACH" extremely disappointing. 4) As you arrive on the property, you see a sign out front "50% off on arrival". So basically if I didn't make the reservation I would pay half the price, awesome thank you. 5) had the omelette breakfast, it was a bit raw, asked to put it on for a bit longer to cook... What do they do, make me a new one... the SAME exact thing happened, TWO breakfasts in a row. Was literally 3 tables, took 30 minutes to make an omelette.

Nice resort in general. The gardens and grounds are beautiful and tranquil. The waitstaff are friendly and efficient. The rooms are a bit run down and could be upgraded.

Excellent diving resort
We had an amazing time at this hotel. The hotel has an amazing house reef which is excellent for diving & snorkeling. It is probably better than a lot of the islands you can visit nearby. The staff at the hotel are all very helpful. The diving centre was very professional and the massage service was very good. If you are looking for a relaxing hotel at a quality hotel, this is the one.

Das Hotel befindet sich direkt am Meer. In unmittelbarer Nähe gibt es schöne Korallenriffe zum Schnorcheln. Das Zimmer ist einfach ausgestattet, ohne Fernseher und leider auch ohne WLAN im Zimmer (WLAN eigentlich nur in der Rezeption) Das Frühstück war klein und die süßen- und frischen Lebensmittel übersäht mit Fruchtfliegen und Ameisen, weil es keine Kühlung oder Insektenschutz gibt. Der Rest der Anlage ist sehr schön, aber insgesamt erwartet man für 150€ p.P. Pro Nacht doch einiges mehr in einem 5* Hotel. Ich würde das Hotel nicht weiterempfehlen, da man in der Nähe für viel weniger Geld den selben Standard haben kann.

Preis-Leisung in keinem Verhältnis - schade!
Ich vermute die 5 Sterne hat sich das Hotel selber verliehen. Zuerst offerierte man mir das wohl kleinst Mögliche Zimmer und erst als ich auf die Erfüllung meines bestellten, bestätigten und bezahlten Standard bestand, erheilt ich es dann auch. Allerdings wurde in der Folge von Seiten der Leitung nicht mehr mit mir gesprochen. Insbesondere der Standard im Badezimmer vermag nie die Erwartungen an einen 5 Sterne Betrieb erfüllen. Das Badetuch war nach der morgendlichen Dusche unbrauchbar für den Rest des Tages - zu ausgekocht (wo ist nur die Baumwolle geblieben) und die Produkte zur Körperpflege haben in 400ml Flaschen lediglich mittelmässigen chemische Warenhausqualität. Das steht im Widerspruch zur sonst vertetenen Philosophie des Hauses - Schützt die Umwelt .. Aus diesem Grund werden auch keine Plastikflaschen mit Trinkwasser aufgefüllt, man muss für 250 Pesos Aluflaschen kaufen in denen man dann kostenlos Trinkwasser erhält. Für Taucher ist das Haus sicher sehr geeignet - für Nichttaucher überhaupt nicht. Die Ausflüge sind fast alle auf die Taucher ausgerichtet. Will man ins nahegeleg Eine Dorf muss man einen Fahrer (Trike) bestellen der mindestens 250 Pesos kostet. Dabei wird unverhohlen darauf aufmerksam gemacht, dass das ein Turistenpreis ist. Positiv hervorzuheben sind die Küche und das Servierpersonal - wahre Profis!

gepflegtes Hotel für Taucher
waren als Taucherpärchen 16 Tage im März 2016 da. Für Taucher mit tollem Hausriff ideal. Alle weiteren Tauchspots in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Leider wurde die Tauchbasis von einem sehr motivationslosem Basisleiter geführt. Die Tauchguides waren jedoch super. WICHTIG! Wer in dieses Hotel fährt, darf nicht zu den Walhaien nach Oslob gehen, da man sonst aus dem Hotel geschmissen wird.

Everything was over priced. Only one set menu each evening which was expensive. Room was much smaller than advertised. Staff were very friendly and that was the only saving grace for this resort.

be prepared to pay
the hotel charges for everything double or triple price. For example you can get a high quality massage in the city for 300p, in the hotel it will cost you 1000p. Food is ok-ish

Great for couples
Very long ride from airport, five hour avg by bus, 1 1/2 by taxi but costly. Arrived very late in evening, hotel shut down, no food available and had to back to a town to eat. Great diving and ocean views.

Good break!
I only spent one night but it was a very pleasant stay. It's perfect if you dive (I didn't) and as a couple. The service was slow but the evening dinner menu was lovely. The pool area needs updating and there is no beach with full tide.
