The lady that checked me in upon arrival was very nice and very accommodating however, she had to change my room three times before I got one that was somewhat clean.

Decent place to stop for a quick night

Beds were clean and comfortable. Judging by the stack of mattresses by the dumpster, beds were new, which was nice. Shower was HOT 🔥 Room was sufficient for a cheap quick overnight stop.

Very run down! Ceiling light fixture gone, wires hanging. Bedside wall light hanging off the wall, doesn't work. Lighted mirror was so dim you could hardly see. Just very run down! Inside and out! Employees were excellent.

Expected some kind of breakfast, nothing.no tea and limited bad coffee. Heat in room didn't work. Room was clean, comfortable bed, staff did what they could. Remote missing batteries and staff fixed. Very small TV.

Worst place I have ever been in. Old, dirty, vent fan hanging from wires into shower. Out of food. Antique age carpet. We didn’t want to touch ANYTHING. On our way back today and I will never stay at a Wyndham property. Days Inn had clean, inexpensive rooms. How tragic.

The check in area was very clean and the staff pleasant. We were told the elevator was out of order and the room was on the second floor. Climbed the dirty stairs with our luggage, walked into the room and was overwhelmed with the order of stale smoke, We used a can of Lysol to compensate the odor before we could enter. and there were no towels and the bathroom. It was very dirty and had bugs on the floor. The paint on the door was peeling. We walked to the bed and it had roaches crawling on the it. The pillows were from a different century. I would never recommend a family to stay here.

This place was old. Homeless people in the breezeway. Had to ask for towels and a trash can. No phone or clock or hairdryer in room. Fridge iced up with no shelves. Tv was messing up. On the other hand the bed was comfortable and smelled like downy which was refreshing

Not a bad one night stay

Rooms were fine. Updated and clean furniture, bed was very comfortable and the room had a fresh clean smell. Bathroom could use an update. The refrigerator in one of our rooms didnt work but that was fine as we were only staying one night. This was the half way point from our week long vacation and home. The remote in the other room didnt work, but we had brought our own tablets and headphones so it was fine. Lots of people wonder the property, i am sure most of them lived there. Outside has been painted at some point, minor things need to be fixed/updated. Pool is a good size, we didnt use it so i do not know the condition. For the price, it was fine. Like i said, we just needed a place to sleep for one night.

Horrible Hotel

When I arrived and checked in which took forever. Then the elevator didn’t work so had to lug all the bags up the stairs. I went to get ice and the ice machine didn’t work and both coke machines were empty of everything. I advised the young lady at the desk and she didn’t say anything about having it checked out. I contacted hotels.com and asked for a credit toward my stay. They called the hotel and they lied saying everything worked and they refused a credit. The only good thing about the stay was the bed was comfortable.

Waited 30 min upon arrival for staff to help us. Room was clean and comfortable and quiet. TV was not plugged in. Fridge was on a tray (I think probably because it leaks?), but you couldn't open the door without lifting it out of the tray. phone did not work, outlet did not work. Price was very cheap, so I guess that's to be expected that it won't be perfect. Staff was very friendly and accommodating after the first night and even opened the pool for our kids when it was the off season. Overall the stay was okay, but definitely could do better and felt like there was a staff shortage or something going on, as it was always hard to find/get a hold of anyone.

Surprise!

The LaQuinta is in the center of downtown three blocks out of the French Quarter. The rooms are lovely, however there are a few surprises. 1. Parking is not free. 2. There is a $150 deposit for damages. The good news is you don't break anything you get it back. The staff I have encountered are the nucest and most helpful individuals. The room is nice it lacks one thing, the ability to provide heat. AC is in abundance and COLD!!!.

Where do I start? Do not take kids to this hotel. They had people all hours of the night smoking dope and knew they were there. When we said something about room all they said is we get dep refund. There wasn’t a refrigerator, microwave , smoke detector, or covers. There wasn’t any towels at all second night and had to go ask for some and was told they might not have any. Let’s just say we were up in the office several times. For just basic stuff. Like clean pillows that weren’t already used. Etc.
