"The property is very convenient to the shops and restaurants near the canals in Leiden. Our room was on the first floor, easily accessed with an electronic key. Some street noise was bothersome in the evening. The staff was pleasant but there is no 24 hour reception, so you may have to call if no one is available. Our room was lovely and historic with a very modern bathroom. Overall a good choice for Leiden."

"The room was very clean and perfect for two folks who were mostly out and about. The breakfast downstairs was a very helpful way to start the day with some good, filling food. The staff were so helpful and the hotel is right next to the station and also many places to eat and go out. They made for a very easy stay where everything was as expected. Would recommend and would easily stay again!"

"Il y a un abri pour laisser les vélos. Les environs sont parfaits pour une marche à pied tranquille, malgré que le château était fermé. Il y a beaucoup de portes d’accès pour la réception de l’hôtel, l’emplacement des chambres aurait avantage à être mieux indiqué à partir de l’accueil. J’aurais pensé que le décor aurait été plus « château », c’était plutôt moderne…dans l’ensemble nous avons été satisfait. Tranquille à 2km du centre historique de Leyden. Séjour d’une nuit seulement, de passage à Leyden."

"The hotel location is very good for accessing the train and bus stations at Leiden, also by an short walk to central Leiden, which is very interesting. Room, facing the railway, was very quiet and well insulated for noise. The Luggage Room was very useful before and after our use of the room. We didn't eat at the hotel, so can't comment on that aspect. Staff were always helpful."
