Top Molokaʻi Museum & Cultural Center Hotel Reviews
Aston Kaanapali Shores
10/10 Excellent
"We loved this property. Right on the beach, two pools and a fabulous restaurant on-site. Also, the food truck park was right across the street. We had one problem and that was that the air conditioning was not working in the one bedroom, making it hard to sleep. They did give me back my resort fee for the 5 days we stayed. I'm sure it is something that will definitely get fixed. Would definitely stay at this property again."
"Our room was very spacious. Whenever we needed something they brought it to our room within 10 mins. The balcony has charis and a lounger for you to relax and enjoy the views. Pool was super big and never crowded. The beach right infront was not calm but still swimable. You could walk to the beach infront of Duke's they have a shortcut. Also the parking was free which will save you a lot of money."
"I thought I had stayed in nice hotels before, but this was by far the best hotel I have ever stayed at. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The main pool was so large that it never felt crowded, it was the perfect temperature, and I loved that the deep end went to nine feet. We didn’t use the other pool that was geared mostly to children since we are child-free, but it looked really awesome for families with all of the slides. The pools at the next resort which we also had access to were very cool - different levels and depths, connected by a series of waterfalls and stairs. And we really appreciated that there was both an adults only and a family hot tub. The towel system was great, the beach was really nice. We thought the African penguins and parrots in the lobby were really neat, and a quirky thing we thought was really practical was the pressure- or motion-activated lights at the bottom of the bed frame that came on if you got up in the middle of the night. The room also had a double sink, so my husband and I did not have to share, which was nice.
The couch in the room was a little too firm and the balcony was a little small. I would have also liked to have hooks on the balcony to hang up wet swimwear and towels to dry. However, these were all very minor preferences, and I would rate this hotel a 10/10 any day."
"Our room was absolutely perfect. We arrived around noon and it was already ready. Our room was next to the smaller pool and it was perfect at night it was a short walk to the hot tub. The walk to the beach is also a very short walk. The sand is nice and soft and well taken care of. The landscape is so beautiful walking around the property is a must. We definitely will stay here again when we return to Maui. Another bonus parking was free!😀"
