“CABN Hahndorf is a beautiful concept and offers a peaceful escape in the Adelaide Hills. The cabin is thoughtfully designed, private, and perfect for a short digital-detox style getaway. The kitchen was well equipped, the shower was fantastic, and the bed and pillows were comfortable and good quality—although the cabin bed could have been a little warmer, especially on cooler nights. One minor issue was the window fly wire screen kept falling on us so we had to temporarily jam it with paper...

“Really wouldn’t recommend staying here for the price. The room stank the whole time meaning we left the windows open (that were open on our arrival so clearly they knew) which then meant the traffic from 7am woke us. The kettle was full of mould, as was the fridge. The shower had a door taken out and stood inside the shower meaning we didn’t want to use it for fear of it slipping and breaking or the obvious spill of water to the surrounding area. And the spas on the advertised bath spa were not...

“Good value for money. Great location, walking distance to main street. Staff are very welcoming and lovely. Room size was great, bed firm and comfortable. Quite a small bar fridge but good enough. Shower nice and hot with good pressure. The provided shampoo, conditioner, body wash and soap are nice. Overall the bathroom was clean but the only thing that is a little off putting is the shower really needs to be re-grouted at the bottom as it appears mouldy. Other than that no complaints.”
