The lady in the morning. Who set up the food. She was excellent. So nice. And made sure everything was fresh and stocked.

Slept horribly tried to get more pillows the first night no answer at front desk. Second night I did get pillows but didn't help children running back and forth all night of the hours above our room didn't get any rest will not stay again

check in was easy and the first day was great, and then the elevator went out of service for the last 3 days of our stay - we were on the 3rd floor. The shower dripped all night as well, had to keep the bathroom door closed.

One night family trip
Stayed in the suite that fit up to 8 people (we had 7). Lots of room, comfortable beds. The only bad thing i could say about the room is the very large stain on the carpeting next to the king bed. Needs a good shampooing. Breakfast was fantastic, great selection. Would definitely stay here again.

We love Red Lobster which is close. The pool was nice and the breakfast excellent. Felt safe to go outside to car even late at night. The syaff was very pleasant and friendly.

Mold in the shower caulking, bare bulbs as bedside lights, thin carpeting with no padding and an HVAC system that was extremely loud (woke us every time it came on). Lots of work trucks in the lot with guys hanging out smoking and drinking, we will not be patronizing HJ’s properties in the future. The breakfast provided was only positive thing, fresh hot quality food was provided.

We were given a room on the first floor, which I normally do not care for....and this lived up to it. The guests above seemed to be having races or a gymnastics class (12am & 5am). Sounded like they were going to come through the ceiling. It was hard for us to get some sleep. The room itself wasn't too bad. Majority of it looked clean, but when you come across a dirty towel left from a previous guest it doesn't leave you with a warm and fuzzy feeling. Also, one of the toilet paper rolls had a stain of some sort on it. Thankfully, there was another. The free breakfast was decent and the staff that we interacted with were very friendly so that's a plus. Overall a decent stay.

Weekend stay
Weekend home to visit family. Hotel was extremely comfortable, stain on carpet was only eye sore / issue but we’re used to messes with our young boys. Hotel staff was very pleasant and friendly. The breakfast was amazing: keep it up! The breakfast staff ladies were super nice and complimentary of our young boys. Would definitely recommend this place for any type of stay.

I stood at the desk waiting to be checked in for a good 20min. I didn’t get the room I requested which I understand but the people above me were super loud on the floor pounding around, the phone in my room didn’t work and the trim in the bathroom was falling off & the beds were uncomfortable. For $150 a night I was expecting to stay in a nicer hotel. The lobby smelled weird as well.

No Complaints Here
We was arriving late in the day around 2am called ahead of time, they accommodated our late check in. Front desk lady was friendly and quick with our check in. Room was clean and everything was up to par. When I go back in October I will definitely be staying there again.

This place charged me ahead of time and it’s in Michigan and I made a reservation for North Carolina and now I have to pay for North Carolina and Michigan. This is a total scam don’t use Expedia anymore.

Very nice facility; front desk needs some training
This is a very nice facility but the stff member that checked us in left a lot to be desired. I booked a room with 2 queen beds and prepaid for it as I was traveling with a friend. When we checked in, I asked if the room had 2 beds as requested and paid for in advance. She said yes and handed me the keys. When I got to the room, it had a single King bed and that would not work. I went back to the front desk and she told me that they overbooked double bed rooms and I had no choice. Since I prepaid for the room in advance, I said this was unacceptable. She said she could move to another room with a pullout bed but indicated she needed to talk with her manager to make any changes. She called her manager, started that call by saying I "was being beligerant about the room I was assigned". The manager initialy indicated to her to offer me a $50 refund. I told her that did not solve the problem but asked if I could purchase a second room and apply the $50 towards it. She said "no" but her manager heard the conversation and immediately told her to give me the second room and comp me fully for it. I was willing to pay for it, with the credti applied but the manager heard the front desk person treating us poorly and corrected the situation. The manager saved the evening despite the poor approach and customer treatment by the staff member.

The room was clean and wonderful to stay only problem they charged my card before we even check out and it said it only needed a card to hold the reservation I didn’t think it would charge it? Maybe be more clear on that.

The breakfast offered had a decent range of items, as did their concession corner. The staff was perfectly friendly and available at all times; really appreciate everything they did and do for the stays.
