“If you’re looking for a quaint lodging experience, you will love Bear Creek Guest Ranch. It’s a family owned/operated ranch with 5 small cabins, horses, and 40 acres of land to explore. “Be aware that this property is out in the middle of nowhere. And there is a very long bumpy road to get to it. Also the bathroom is not attached to the bedroom. You are the only ones using it downstairs but it is down the hall. Oh and there is no air conditioning. That was pretty uncomfortable on an 85 degree humid day.”

Amenities furnishings, bedding, so comfortable! (we were in room number 6/hidden lake. The back porch looks out into a meadow and was a beautiful spot for relaxing with a glass of wine after hiking all day Bill, the owner was readily available with any questions or anything we needed throughout the day. “We loved our stay here. It started to feel like home & we hated to leave. The owner (Marjarite) had the sweetest pets & we fell in love with them. The kitchen has breakfast foods such as bagels, English muffins, oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, fruits, huckleberry bread & jam:) She also has snacks like granola bars, cheese & nuts. She provides things like bear spray, insect repellent & hiking sticks. The property is perfect with lots of beautiful flowers. Our bed was so comfy and had the best pillows....
