My stay at Bahia Principe in Jamaica was one of the most disappointing vacations I’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, the food, drinks, housekeeping, and customer service were all far below expectations for an “all-inclusive” resort.
The food quality was poor, the drinks watered down, and when staff served food, many had visibly bad attitudes. The resort was also dirty and poorly maintained housekeeping barely cleaned our room, and I had to constantly call “0” just to get towels or washcloths. Often, no one even showed up.
Around the pool, every single seat was always taken, leaving nowhere to sit. For such a large hotel with a massive pool area, this should not be an issue.
To make matters worse, they booked my family for a party, but not everyone could attend. I specifically told them to cancel the reservation, which they apparently failed to do. At checkout, the manager refused to remove my wristband until I paid $23 for an event I never attended a mistake entirely on their end.
This was supposed to be a relaxing trip, but it turned into a frustrating and disappointing experience. I would not recommend Bahia Principe Jamaica to anyone looking for good service, cleanliness, or value for their money.
